Das Reinigungsmedium wird z.B. mittels eines sich drehenden Rohres, an dessen Ende sich zwei herkömmliche Düsen befinden, zu den Tauscherflächen gesprüht. Der Nachteil ist, dass es sich um eine normale Düse mit einem daraus normalen Abreinigungsbereich handelt. Für eine gezielte Abreinigung von Heizflächen benötigt man einen hohen Zeiteinsatz. Durch den Rotorstrahl wird dann z.B. eine bestimmte Stelle in dieser Reinigungsfläche mit einer Frequenz von 42 mal in der Sekunde mit dem Wasserstrahl beaufschlagt und wieder nicht.
