Abstract

Ein Ölseparator für einen Verdichter umfasst eine Wand mit einer Innenfläche, die eine Innenkammer bildet. Die Innenkammer enthält einen Ölsammelbereich und einen Abscheiderbereich mit einer Aufprallfläche. Ein Gemischeinlass bietet einen Durchlass für ein Gemisch aus Öl und gasförmigem Kältemittel zum Strömen von der Außenseite des Separators in die Innenkammer. Das Öl wird aus dem Gemisch abgeschieden, wenn das Gemisch gegen die Aufprallfläche prallt. Das abgeschiedene Öl fließt in den Ölsammelbereich ab und verlässt den Separator durch den Ölauslass. Ein Gasauslass bietet für das gasförmige Kältemittel einen vom Abscheiderbereich und aus dem Separator hinausführenden Durchlass.
