Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Fahrzeugstabilisierungssystem (VSS) insbesondere für Kraftfahrzeuge, mit einem Steuergerät (2), in dem ein Stabilisierungsregelalgorithmus (6, 7, 8) hinterlegt ist, einer Sensorik (3) zum Erfassen aktueller Ist-Werte von Fahrzustandsgrößen und wenigstens einem Aktuator (4) zum Durchführen eines Stabilisierungseingriffs bei Erkennen einer instabilen Situation. Um das Fahrzeugstabilisierungssystem (VSS) an unterschiedliche Untergrundbeschaffenheiten anpassen zu können, wird vorgeschlagen, eine Einrichtung (1) vorzusehen, die dem Steuergerät (2) eine Information (U) über die Untergrundbeschaffenheit der Fahrbahn bereitstellt, und wenigstens eine Reglergröße des Stabilisierungsregelalgorithmus (6, 7, 8) in Abhängigkeit von der bereitgestellten Untergrundinformation (U) zu verändern.
