Auf der Abdeckung 2 sind Symbole 12 vorgesehen, die dem Fahrzeugnutzer zugeordnet sind. Dies können z. B. die Anfangsbuchstaben des Namens sein. Denkbar wäre auch hier die Autonummer oder den Fahrzeugtyp vorzusehen, damit der Schlüssel einem bestimmten Fahrzeug zugeordnet werden kann. Damit kann sichergestellt werden, daß bei Autovermietungen immer der richtige Schlüssel herausgegeben werden kann. Besondere Anhänger wie sie bisher verwendet werden, können damit entfallen.
