Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and a device to remove the spinal cord from the spinal canal one undivided carcass according to the generic terms of first and fourth claims.
Numerous solutions are known, in which means Vacuum extraction from divided carcass offal and other unusable parts such as loose fats and floms are suctioned off (e.g. DE 199 06 883 C1, DE 94 14 144 U1). These solutions generally have the major disadvantage that the carcasses split before removing the offal must be, and thus from the spinal canal z. B. by Transfer BSE infected spinal cord to other parts of the body can be. It is also from DE 197 57 745 C1 Device known from the spinal canal one more slaughter animal not divided the spinal cord by means of a Milling head crushed and also vacuumed. This is intended to remove the spinal cord without leaving any residue be guaranteed. For particularly easy removal of the spinal cord is additionally via a compressed air line Compressed air between the inner wall of the spinal canal and Milling head fed. The spinal canal becomes one-sided opened by detaching the head and then the rotating milling head inserted into the spinal canal, with the spinal cord loosened, aspirated and in one Container is collected. At the same time, compressed air fed, whereby the spinal cord suck off better leaves. The disadvantage here is that by using the The risk of damage to the spinal canal exists, whereby the possibly infected BSE spinal cord from the Spinal canal can escape. Furthermore, this shows Device has a relatively complicated structure. According to DE 198 24 966 A1 is a method and an apparatus for Removal of spinal cord from the spinal canal one closed animal body known, in which the Spinal canal is also opened on one side and finally with a pressurizable liquid the spinal cord shredded and out of the spinal cord canal Will get removed. This solution is also very complex.
The object of the invention is a method and Device for removing the spinal cord from the Spinal canal of an undivided carcass develop with which a simple and safe suction of the spinal cord is ensured, the device has an uncomplicated construction.
This task is carried out with the characteristic features of the first and fourth claims solved. advantageous Comments result from the subclaims.
The spinal cord is removed according to the procedure the spinal canal of the undivided carcass using a negative pressure generator Suction and a collecting container in which the extracted material is collected, according to the invention the spinal canal opened at both ends and then the spinal cord using a, in a any end of the spinal cord insertable probe is suctioned off exclusively by vacuum. The probe is completely or at least up to 75% in the Spinal canal introduced. The spinal canal becomes on both sides by severing the head and removing it of the tail bone open to the lock bone. After aspirating the spinal cord, the spinal canal can with water or a disinfectant solution (e.g. 8% Caustic soda) are rinsed, this too Rinsing liquid is sucked off via the probe.
The device consists of a vacuum generating suction and a collecting container for the aspirated material (spinal cord). According to the invention the collecting container only with negative pressure acted upon probe connected in the bilateral open spinal canal is insertable. The length of the In particular, the probe is 75-100% of the length of the Spinal canal and the diameter of the probe is selectable according to the size of the spinal canal. The outer diameter of the probe is preferably 6 to 18 mm, whereby for larger slaughter animals, e.g. B. cattle Outside diameters from 15 to 18 mm and for smaller ones Carcasses (e.g. sheep or pigs) Outside diameter of 5 to 10 mm is selected. The probe advantageously consists of a flexible material and can simply follow the course of the spinal canal. A vacuum pump is used as an extraction system a first connection line with a pressure vessel is connected, from which a second connecting line leads to the collecting container. The collection container is over a third connection line is connected to the probe. The area adjoining the probe is the third connecting line as a transparent more flexible Hose formed, which makes a visual inspection is made possible. The size of the negative pressure is preferably according to the size of the carcass through a between the vacuum pump and the pressure vessel arranged valve adjustable and is preferably in Range from -30 to -150 mbar. To the one or Switching off the vacuum is between the probe and the Collecting container a valve arranged. As a collecting container for the aspirated spinal cord and if necessary for the Rinse liquid is used for conventional milking systems used jug and a lid. The pressure vessel serves advantageously at the same time as a separator from liquid supplied via the second connecting line and / or solid components. Points towards the ground the pressure vessel turns on when the vacuum is switched off opening bottom flap. That is in the pressure vessel material is placed in an underlying one Tub emptied. Alternatively, a can also be used as a pressure vessel can and associated lid used in milking systems be used. Advantageously, the Collecting container and the pressure container in one of the Carcasses arranged in separate room. For Large slaughterhouses can have several probes connected to one suction be connected, each probe a separate Collection containers can be assigned or several Probes into one via their third connecting lines open common collecting container. On the collecting container a level indicator can be arranged so that at A signal to reach the level indicator Interruption of the suction is triggered. With the Invention becomes a simple solution for removing the Spinal cord from the spinal canal of an undivided Carcass created. The spinal cord can be in a room separate from the slaughter room (confiscation room) be derived. It will be simple and safe Suction guaranteed, in particular by the Use of commercial milking cans as a collecting container or as an additional pressure vessel Cost reduction is effected. Furthermore, the Arrangement of the vacuum pump outside the slaughter room Noise nuisance for those working in the slaughter room Personnel significantly reduced. The separation will furthermore the risk of short-circuit through splash water locked out. The probes are advantageous interchangeable, so that the device quickly to the appropriate size of the carcass is adjustable.

According to FIG. 1, the extracted air leads, for example, to the outside air via the discharge line 1 of the pump 2 in the direction of the arrow. The pump 2 is connected to a pressure vessel 3 via the first line L1. A controllable valve 4 as well as a pressure gauge 5 and a safety valve 6 are arranged between the pump 2 and the pressure vessel 3 . The first connecting line L1 opens into the container 3 via a first nozzle 3.1 . The container 3 also has a second nozzle 3.2 . The first and second nozzle 3.1 and 3.2 of the container 3 extend through its cover 3.3 . In the direction of the bottom, the container 3 has a bottom flap 3.4 which can be pivoted downwards. Via the second nozzle 3.2 , the container 3 is connected to the collecting container 7 by means of a second connecting line L2. The second connecting line L2 leads into the container 7 via an inlet connection 7.1 . A second nozzle 7.2 is also provided. The first and second connecting pieces 7.1 and 7.2 extend through the cover 7.3 into the collecting container 7 . A third connecting line L3 is attached to the second connecting piece 7.2 and is connected at its other end to the probe 9 via a coupling 8 . This connecting line L3 is formed at its end adjoining the probe 9 as a transparent flexible hose 10 . Between the probe 9 and the second nozzle 7.2 of the collecting container 7 , a valve 11 is arranged with which the negative pressure can be switched on or off. A collecting trough 12 is arranged under the pressure vessel 3 .
Linie 13 angedeutet. Eine Ausführungsvariante mit insgesamt
fünf Sonden 9 zeigt Fig. 2. Jeder Sonde 9 ist ein
Auffangbehälter 7 und ein Druckbehälter 3 sowie ein
Manometer 5 zugeordnet. Alle Sonden werden über eine
gemeinsame Vakuumpumpe 2 mit Unterdruck beaufschlagt. Die
Sonden 9 sind ebenfalls vorteilhafterweise räumlich von den
Auffangbehältern und den Druckbehältern getrennt. An jeder
in Fig. 3 dargestellt.
vermieden.
The device works as follows:
When the vacuum pump 2 is switched on, the desired vacuum is set via the valve 4 , which can be read on the manometer 5 . After opening the valve 11 , the corresponding negative pressure is present in the overall system. If the probe 9 is inserted into the open spinal cord channel, the existing negative pressure causes the spinal cord to be suctioned off via the third line L3 through the second nozzle 7.2 into the container 7 . The extracted material collects at the bottom of the container 7 and via the first nozzle 7.1 the air and any solid and / or liquid constituents which may still be present are discharged into the pressure container 3 via its second nozzle 3.2 . Any liquid and / or solid material still present collects on the bottom of the pressure vessel 3 . The air is still released to the environment through the first nozzle 3.1 of the pressure vessel 3 and the line L1 by means of the pump 2 and its outlet 1 . Air filters, not shown, can be provided in the line system before or after the pump. After the suction process has ended, the valve 11 is closed and the negative pressure is released via the valve 4 . When the air pressure is reached, the bottom flap 3.4 of the pressure container 3 opens and the latter is emptied into the collecting trough 12 . If the collecting container 7 is filled, it can simply be exchanged for an empty container. To ensure that there is no connection between the aspirated spinal cord, which may be infected with BSE, and the slaughter room, collecting container 7 and pressure container 3 can be arranged in a separate room. This separation is indicated in FIG. 1 by the dashed line 13 . An embodiment variant with a total of five probes 9 is shown in FIG. 2. Each probe 9 is assigned a collecting container 7 and a pressure container 3 as well as a manometer 5 . All probes are subjected to negative pressure via a common vacuum pump 2 . The probes 9 are also advantageously spatially separated from the collecting containers and the pressure containers. At each probe 9 , the vacuum can be switched on or off separately via the valve 11 . An alternative is shown in FIG. 3. Five probes 9 are also provided, but they have a common collecting container 7 and a common pressure container 3 . Here, too, the negative pressure on the probes 9 is generated by a common vacuum pump 2 . In addition to the previously proposed separate arrangement of pressure vessel 3 and collecting vessel 7 , it is also possible to install them in the slaughter room. According to a further embodiment variant, not shown, the pressure container 3 can be constructed identically to the collecting container 7 in the manner of a commercial milking can used for milking systems. The first and second nozzles 3.1 , 3.2 , 7.1 , 7.2 of the pressure container 3 and the collecting container 7 sit airtight in their covers 3.3 and 7.3, respectively. Between the cover 3.3 and the pressure vessel 3 , an air inlet at negative pressure is also avoided via a seal, not shown, likewise between the bottom flap 3.4 of the pressure vessel 3 and this pressure vessel. Analogously, the supply of outside air and thus reduction of the negative pressure is avoided via a corresponding seal, not shown, between the cover 7.3 and the collecting container 7 in the case of negative pressure.
Particularly advantageous for spinal cord suction in sheep there is a negative pressure of the order of magnitude of -60 mbar proven in tests carried out, probes with an outer diameter of 6 and 8 mm are used were. The suction process was completed within only 30 seconds completed. When aspirating spinal cord from the Bovine spinal canals were probed with a Diameter of 16 mm used. Within 45 seconds was the suction process at a negative pressure of -80 mbar completed.
It became an extremely efficient and safe working Device developed, which is also a very simple and Has inexpensive construction. It was not from Predictable in advance that the pure vacuum extraction also undivided carcasses is possible. Of special The advantage is that this may be with BSE infected material via the third connection line is immediately sucked outside the slaughter room and thus a risk of transmission to other parts of the Carcass or on those in the slaughter room working people is excluded. Will continue generally avoided that infected material to the outside and thus can get into the groundwater via the wastewater.
