Es sind derartige Treppen bekannt, bei denen zwar der Handlauf oder die Handleiste
leicht dem Treppenlauf angepaßt «erden kann, bei denen es jedoch schwierig ist,
die Voraussetzungen hierfür in Form von geeigneten Trägern für den Handlauf zu schaffen.
Diese Träger aus Holz, Metall usw. weisen alle möglichen Profile auf und verursachen

Gemäß der Erfindung «-erden diese Nachteile dadurch beseitigt, daß der Träger des
Handlaufs im wesentlichen lediglich aus zwei im Abstand zueinander verlaufenden
dicken Drähten oder einfachen Stangen aus federndem Material besteht, die auf den
Geländerstäben oder -stützen mit sie umgreifenden Klammern befestigt sind. Dabei
bestehen diese Klammern aus -zwei übereinanderliegenden Blechstreifen. die einen
flachen Mittelteil besitzen, mit dem sie auf den Geländerstäben od. dgl. aufschraubbar
sind, und die ferner mit ihren Endteilen die den Träger für den Handlauf bildenden

einer Schraube 26, die in eine von der freien Stirnfläche des Geländerstabes ausgehende
axiale, mit Gewinde versehene Bohrung 28 eiuschrauhbar ist. Der untere Blechstreifen
20 hat einen flachen Mittelteil 30 zum Aufliegen auf der Stirnfläche des Geländerstabes
und an beiden Enden je einen nach dem Durchmesser der Drähte oder Stangen 18 aufgebogenen
Teil. Der obere Blechstreifen 22 hat gleichfalls einen flachen Mittelteil, der mit
32 bezerichnet und so ausgebildet ist, daß er zwischen die Drähte oder Stangen paßt,
und der an seinen Enden beiderseits des Mittelteils so gebogen ist, daß seine Innenseite
dem Umriß der Drähte oder Stangen 18 folgt. Auf ihrer Außenseite werden die Drähte
oder Stangen 18 zwischen den Geländerstäben mit Cberzügen 34 z. B. aus Gummi oder
elastischem Kunststoff überdeckt, deren Dicke den Abmessungen der Klammern angepaßt
ist, derart, daß eine ebene, fortlaufend- Auflagefläche entlang der ganzen Länge
