Die Crashbox, die in an sich bekannter Weise konstruktiv auf einen definierten Kräfteverlauf bei der Deformation ausgelegt ist, wird die Aufprallkräfte auf die Motorhaube über den Verformungsweg in der Mehrzahl aller Fälle auf einem zulässigen Wert halten.
