Description
The invention relates to a two-stage process for the high purification of industrial water, groundwater and surface water for further processing in subsequent demineralization plants, which finds application in micro-optics and in the production of image display tubes.
Organische Verunreinigungen sind besonders schädigend (DD-WP 55617, DD-WP 126710, DE-OS 3018086, DE-AS 2332103).It is known to purify raw, potable or other service water, in particular surface water, in order to operate with them a demineralizer on an ion exchange basis or by reverse osmosis. The required effort differs considerably depending on the quantity and structure of the water contaminants. Organic contaminants are particularly damaging (DD-WP 55617, DD-WP 126710, DE-OS 3018086, DE-AS 2332103).
Der Aufwand zur Risikominderung gegen Schwankungen der Wasserqualität wird hoch angesetzt (DD-WP 72515, DD-WP 810969, DD-WP 104494, DE-OS 1 642868, DE-OS 2427697, DE-OS 2439303, DE-OS 2950875, DE-OS 3016708).Furthermore, cleaning compositions are known which are based on clarifiers, biological activated sponges, aeration, gravel filtration and other filters, with chemical or chemical-physical oxidation, electrolytic treatments, with various flocculation methods and with one and / or multi-stage adsorption processes primarily on the Basis of various activated carbons or other substrates are performed (DD-WP 126911, DD-WP 132963, DE-OS 1934000, DE-OS 2447956, DE-OS 3018086, DE-OS 3025353). With the highest requirements of pure water in the electronics and the related industry adsorption exchange resins, above all with porous channel structure, were used. They are mostly made on the basis of polystyrene divinylbenzene; the most effective of them with anionic side chains. The desired adsorptions occur for specific substance groups whose composition and concentration fluctuate unpredictably, especially in surface waters exposed to industrial wastewater or polluted rainfall, or due to agricultural influences and natural processes. This has the consequence that the achievable cleaning effect of hot water in the form of elimination of organic contaminants is also subject to fluctuations and more constant, consuming controls and analysis needs. The difficulties are in the determination of the regeneration technology, the regeneration effort, the time required for this in relation to the active operating state and the economic portability of the process, for example by shortening the life of the expensive Adsorberfüllungen. For each location-dependent system, an optimal variant must be worked out, for example by means of long-term model systems. These are operated for the treatment of surface waters over a one-year period in order to record the seasonal fluctuations of the raw water and to allow a perspective quality assessment. The effort for risk reduction against fluctuations in the water quality is set high (DD-WP 72515, DD-WP 810969, DD-WP 104494, DE-OS 1 642868, DE-OS 2427697, DE-OS 2439303, DE-OS 2950875, DE- OS 3016708).
The aim of the invention is to develop a method for adsorptive high purification of industrial, ground and surface waters in order to be able to process them in subsequent demineralization plants.
The invention has for its object to provide a two-stage process for the high purification of organically contaminated process water, in which a double adsorption resin stage is used.
According to the invention, the object is achieved by carrying out the two-stage process with two separate adsorption columns, wherein the first stage corresponds to the upper part of the adsorption column and primarily triggers the mechanical secondary filter effect with controlled formation of a filter cake. The second stage corresponds to the lower part of the adsorption column of levitation-free water for the reversible lowering of dissolved organic constituents. Both fillings contain highly porous adsorption and exchange resins based on styrene-divinylbenzene copolymers. Refilling with unused Adsorberharzen takes place only in the second stage, while the first column is filled only with depleted, otherwise verwerfendem material in the second column. The first filling is kept much flatter than the second filling. In the case of surface waters, the first filling is regenerated with a considerably reduced use of regenerant, adapted to the strongly fluctuating raw water qualities. The second stage with the main volume of adsorber resin filling eliminates daily regenerations, which are extended in a range of weeks to months. As a result, regenerants are saved and a longer service life of the main resin filling achieved and kept the wastewater load low. In the presence of fatty substances, solvent-based special regeneration is carried out.
