Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a fabric coating for conveyor belts, as they are used in particular for the light and food industry.
It is known a conveyor belt in which the base fabric is coated with a one-component polyurethane.
The basic fabric consists of a polyester silk with wires woven as warp threads. The warp threads are in the transport direction.
The polyurethane is applied to the base fabric in the thermoplastic state by the known inverse process.
However, this process step must be preceded by the application of a primer in order to ensure a secure adhesion of the polyurethane layer to the backing fabric.
Die Masse der Beschichtung beträgt etwa 400g/m2.The mass of the coating is about 400 g / m 2 .
Finally, the surface of the conveyor belt is aftertreated in order to achieve a coating adapted to the respective application. In most cases, a closed, smooth and abrasion-resistant surface is sought.
The disadvantage of this solution is that the conveyor belts produced by this method wear after a relatively short time at about 2000 hours of operation. Cross-cracks form on the surface, which increase over time and reach the ground tissue.
So z. B. penetrate adhering to the cargo aggressive media to the ground tissue and impregnate this.
Damit wird das Transportband unbrauchbar. Thus, the conveyor belt is unusable.
The cause of these disadvantages is that the conveyor belt is guided over deflection and transport rollers, which have a small diameter. For functional reasons, the diameter is sometimes up to 5mm. In conjunction with a wrap angle of 90-180 °, the conveyor belt is exposed to high loads in these zones and in particular must do a large flexing work. Since the coating due to the required mechanical strength, in particular the abrasion resistance, must have sufficient strength, there are tensions between the top and bottom of the coatings in the claimed zones. This leads to the above-mentioned effect of transverse cracking.
The object of the invention is to develop a method for producing a fabric coating of conveyor belts, by which a long service life of the conveyor belts is achieved.
The invention has for its object to develop a process for the production of conveyor belts, by which a coating is achieved, which has a high flexibility with consistently high mechanical strength.
The object is achieved in that a two-component polyurethane is applied by the per se known Direktstreichverfahren in more than 10 strokes on the base fabric, the support of the first stroke is 40 g / m 2 and the rest of the other strokes stepwise is uniformly reduced to 10 g / m 2 in the last line, wherein after each stroke, drying and cooling takes place and after the coating is carried out by means of a heated roller blade.
The invention has the advantage that the conveyor belt has a high degree of flexibility and thus withstands the load caused by the transport and deflection rollers for a longer time without impairing its function. The adhesive strength of the coating on the ground fabric is very high.
Zt. verwendeten Transportbändern bezüglich der ..The conveyor belt is despite its low number of copies the z. Currently used conveyor belts with respect to ..
mechanischen Belastbarkeit, Abriebfestigkeit und Kantenstabilität überlegen.superior mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and edge stability.
The invention will be described in more detail with reference to an exemplary embodiment.
As an example, a conveyor belt for coating equipment, as used in the confectionery and long-life bakery industry, was selected. The conveyor belt is there to promote kleinstückigem processing, such as gingerbread, waffles, marzipan u. Ä. It is exposed to high loads, as it is passed over transport and deflection rollers, which have a very small diameter. This is necessary to guarantee trouble-free transfer from one conveyor belt to another.
Geeignet sind Gewebe aus Cordseide o.a.For the conveyor belt according to the invention a durable base fabric is used. Suitable fabrics are Cordseide o.a.
The tissue is washed, fixed and stained. This is followed by a one-sided coating with polyurethane. The known direct coating method with rubber blanket doctor blade is used. After the first stroke, which is 40 g / m 2 , the fabric is dried at 90-130 ° C in an indirectly heated hot air channel. It is followed by a cooling by cooling rollers. Thereafter, the second and the following strokes are applied, with a uniform reduction of the edition per stroke is sought. The drying and cooling takes place after each stroke as described above.
After the 11th and thus last stroke, the support is 10g / m 2 , the conveyor belt is cured. The time is 72 hours, whereby the curing takes place with hanging deposition.
The final operation is followed by assembly. The conveyor belt is here cut to its final width, with heated roller blades are used. Due to the heated roller blades, the edge of the conveyor belt is melted due to the basic materials used.
The coating has a total of 260g / m 2 , so it is well below the currently used conveyor belts.
