Such products are required for various uses, mainly for mechanical road application, drilling mud production, brine production, and others.
Diese Schuppenware wird aus einer etwa 70 bis 72-prozentigen CaClp-Schmelze auf einerCharacteristic of the known technical solutions Calcium chloride is manufactured from different raw materials and according to different procedures. Mainly the extraction takes place from calcium chloride solutions, which are obtained by evaporation of soda liquor or by neutralization of hydrochloric acid with limestone and / or hydrated lime. The vast majority of industrially-produced calcium chloride is produced in the form of 0.5 to 1 cm scales containing 77 to 80 percent CaCl 2. This scale product is made from an approximately 70 to 72 percent CaClp melt on a
rotierenden Eühltrommel erzeugt und der.höhere CaCl2-Gehalt durch oberflächliches Calcinieren in einer beheizten Drehtrommel eingestellt· Granulat kann nach diesem Verfahren durch totale Calcinierung der primär gewonnenen Schuppenware'erzeugt werden, wodurch sich die flachen Schuppen aufblähen und abgerundete, etwa 8 bis mm große Granalien entstehen, die nur für'spezielle Zwecke verwendet werden, bei denen solche Eigenschaften ^ wie niedriger Wassergehalt und hohe Porösität bei geringar Abrieb- und Rieselfähigkeit und geringes Schüttgewicht nicht stören·generates rotating Eühltrommel and der.höhere CaCl 2 content by surface calcination in a heated rotary drum may be adjusted · granules, thereby inflate the flat scales and rounded by total calcination of the Schuppenware'erzeugt primarily obtained, about 8 to mm by this method Granules are produced which are used only for special purposes in which such properties as low water content and high porosity with low abrasion and flowability and low bulk density do not disturb
Die industriell eingeführten Verfahren der Herstellung fester CaCI2-Produkte sind in Ulimanns Enzyklopädie der technischen Chemie, Band 4, ausführlich beschrieben·According to this method, in principle, none of the scale products can be produced chemically equivalent, round-grained and abrasion-resistant granules. The industrially introduced processes for the preparation of solid CaCl 2 products are described in detail in Ulimann's Enzyklopadie der technischen Chemie, Volume 4.
A state-of-the-art technique involves making a granulate about 2 to 5 mm in size from concentrated calcium chloride solutions in a fluid bed granulation process by spraying highly concentrated CaCl 2 solution into a natural gas heated fluidized bed dryer. The CaCl 2 content of the granules produced is not arbitrary and is at tolerable yields of granules 90 to 95 percent CaCl 2 . The product produced has a round grain shape and is therefore also referred to as a prilled product, but the product produced is porous, less resistant to abrasion,

Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
In particular, the object of the invention is the production of a product of the scale product which is chemically and in terms of bulk density equivalent in the form of a free-flowing, abrasion-resistant, non-dusting, round granular, storable granulate with a narrow grain band Reduction of the technical effort and the energy consumption for the production of calcium chloride products.
OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is a production method according to which a granular CaClp granulate can be produced from a concentrated GaGlo solution, as is the case with the fluid bed granulation method, without this granulate having properties which are negative for certain applications, such as low bulk density, high porosity, low abrasion resistance, high dust development during handling and spreading. This object is achieved in that initially a porous and CaClp content above 90 percent lying CaClp granules is produced and from this by a treatment without further vförmeenergieeinsatz a CaClp-poorer, less porous, specifically heavier, abrasion-resistant product is generated · At the same time, the task of a relative energy saving is achieved, since this aftertreatment takes place without the expense of heat, in contrast to which the end product quantity substantially increases.
Überraschend konnte gefunden werden, daß durch eine Bedüsung eines porösen, hochprozentigen Granulates mit einer passenden Menge an konzentrierter CaClp-Lösung unter Beibehaltung der ursprünglichen Kornform und -größe die aufgesprühte CaClp-Lösung durch das poröse Korn auf-Surprisingly, it has been found that spraying a porous, high-percentage granulate with a suitable amount of concentrated CaCl 2 solution while retaining the original grain shape and size causes the sprayed CaCl 2 solution to pass through the porous grain.
Außerdem ist zur Erzielung aller dieser positiven Eigenschaften nur ein einziger, technisch einfacher Prozeßschritt erforderlieh, der keinerlei Aufwand an Energie erfordert.is sucked and in the course of technically useful reaction times of a maximum of 1.5 hours a complete binding of the water contained in the solution takes place as water of crystallization and thereby disappear all negative properties of the porous CaC ^ grain and with appropriate selection of the proportions of GaCI 2 -Gianulat and , , G'aCl 2 solution of a scale product chemically and respect of the bulk density completely equivalent CaClp product with 77 to 80 percent GaGl 0 and a bulk density of 0.85 to 0.90 g / cnr can be produced. In addition, such products have an ideal Eieselverhalten and thus ideal metering ability, do not dust, are resistant to abrasion and surprisingly good storage. With regard to these properties, the CaClo-Pcodukte produced by the method according to the invention are reached only approximately from the usual scale product nor from conventional porous granules. In addition, to achieve all these positive properties only a single, technically simple process step is required, which requires no expenditure of energy.
The treatment according to the invention of a porous CaCl 2 granulate produced by a known process with concentrated GaCl 2 solution can be carried out in various apparatus suitable for treating a solid with a liquid.
It has been found that mechanical mixers, free-fall mixers, rotating drums, as well as fluidized bed apparatuses or a suitable series connection of such apparatuses are suitable, provided that they are provided with liquid feed devices, in particular atomizing devices, and ensure a residence time of the grain of up to a maximum of 1.5 hours which is required for chemical water binding. It must be ensured that the granules remain free-flowing in each phase of the mixing process and that the amount and rate of addition of the CaCl 2 -LOSUiIg CaCl 2 -Bindung ange-

Als optimal hat sich eine CaClp-Konzentration oberhalb 30 Prozent und unter 45 Prozent für die zuzusetzende Lösung erwiesen· Das zu erzeugende Endprodukt wird vorwiegend auf den der Schuppenware äquivalenten CaClp-Gehalt von 77 bis 80 Prozent GaGl2 eingestellt, jedoch lassen sich nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren auch andere gewünschte Granulatqualitäten etwa CaCl2-Dihydrat mit 75»5 Prozent GaGl2 oder CaCl-^-Monohydrat mit 86 Prozent GaGl2 herstellen, wobei dafür hochprozentige GaGl2-Granulate aus Wirbelbettgranulationsverfahren aber auch nachkalzinierte Schuppenware als Ausgangsprodukt verwendbar sind·The aas of this aftertreatment apparatus escaping granules is solid, has no noticeable moisture and "requires no further aftertreatment, although a conditioning for special demands of course 'is possible as well as for other products · The amount of the added GaClp solution depends according to the GaClo content of the desired product and the CaClp content der'Einsatzstoffe and can be determined by a simple mixing calculation · Both the CaGlo concentration of the CaCl P solution and the OaCl P content of the granules are within wide limits A CaClp concentration above 30 percent and below 45 percent for the solution to be added has proven to be optimum. The end product to be produced is predominantly adjusted to the equivalent CaClp content of 77 to 80 percent GaGl 2 but can be reduced the method according to the invention also other desired granule qualities about CaCl 2 dihydrate with 75 »5 percent GaGl 2 or CaCl - ^ - monohydrate with 86 percent GaGl 2 produce, for which high-percentage GaGl 2 granules from fluidized bed granulation but also nachkalzinierte scale product can be used as starting material
