Abstract
DIE ERFINDUNG IST GEKENNZEICHNET DADURCH, DASS DIE RUDERACHSE SENKRECHT ZUM SCHRAEGEN, EBENEN SCHIFFSBODEN ANGEORDNET UND DER SPALT ZWISCHEN RUDERBLATT UND SCHIFFSBODEN ABGEDICHTET WIRD. DIE ANORDNUNG EIGNET SICH - WIE DER ZEICHNUNG ZU ENTNEHMEN IST - BESONDERS FUER BUGRUDER VON SCHUBLEICHTERN.THE INVENTION IS CHARACTERIZED BY THE RUDDER AXLE BEING LOWERED AS A GEAR, LEVELING SHIP FLOOR AND SEALING THE SPLIT BETWEEN THE CIRCULAR LEAF AND SHIP FLOOR. THE ARRANGEMENT IS SUCH AS THE DRAWING CAN BE TAKEN - ESPECIALLY FOR BOWRUDER OF DRAWERS.
Description

The invention relates in particular to the arrangement of rudders at the bow of inland waterway vessels. It is expedient to apply the invention to vehicles which have a flat floor in the area of the steering gear.
Known oars of various forms and bearings have a vertically arranged rudder stock. With long oars, as they are used especially for push barges on the bow, the rudder is known rudder arrangements creates a gap between the rudder upper edge and the ship's bottom, which leads to flow turbulence and loss of effect. The solution set forth in the GDR patent 68 160 "Bugruder, especially for push barges" * includes and illustrates the indicated defect.
By the invention, a higher efficiency of the steering gear to be achieved, d. h., a larger Rudderquerkraft, based on the rudder surface. It also allows a simpler design and adaptation to the hull.

The invention is intended to prevent the formation of the rudder with increasing rudder angle forms an ever-increasing gap between the ship's bottom and the rudder upper edge, whereby the rudder is overflowed. Through the gap the buoyancy and thus the rudder force is reduced. This deficiency is eliminated by the fact that the rudder axis and thus the rudder stock is not - as usual - arranged vertically to the baseline or construction waterline, but perpendicular to the ship's bottom in the field of rudder. This, the invention corresponding arrangement is particularly suitable for push barges with sloping auflaufendem, flat bottom. An inserted between the rudder blade and the ship's floor seal increases the efficiency of the steering gear.
On the foredeck of a push barge 1 a levitation balance rudder 2 is provided. The axis of the rudder stock 3 is arranged perpendicular to the fore floor 4. A used between the bottom of the ship and the upper edge of the rudder and mounted on the rudder seal 5 prevents the pressure balance on the flowed rudder and thereby increases its efficiency.
