Verfahren zur Entfernung von in Wasser gelöstem Sauerstoff Anwendungsgebiet der ErfindungMethod of removing oxygen dissolved in water Field of application of the invention
The invention relates to a process for the removal of oxygen from water, in particular from boiler feed water, and for Eonservierungszwecke. It is well known that oxygen dissolved in water is corrosive to steel. It is therefore necessary to protect containers, lines, steam boilers, heat exchangers and other system components by adding a Beduktionsmittels against corrosion in closed apparatus systems and to maintain the corrosion protection even if there are low temperatures during shutdown periods or during startup.

Reducing agent has been used. They have the disadvantage that they feed to sulfates 03ydient and that thereby an undesirable salt concentration occurs. In addition, corrosive gases, such as sulfur dioxide, can be formed at high temperatures. In contrast, hydrazine has been used for some time as a reducing agent which is converted by oxygen into harmless nitrogen. A disadvantage has been found that a satisfactory reduction effect only occurs at relatively high temperatures entry. This disadvantage has been eliminated by activators, which are generally added to the aqueous, about 10 to 25% hydrazine solution. Thus, the Hydraζinlösung small amounts of iodine or bromine were added (DE-PS 1 186 305) · A disadvantage is that the Water whose oxygen content is to be eliminated, after admixing the activated hydrazine must be passed through activated carbon filter to ensure satisfactory oxygen degradation - which requires additional expenses.
It has also been proposed to use manganese, copper, cobalt and vanadium compounds in their lower valence states (US Pat. No. 4,022,711, US Pat. No. 3,764,548). However, these elements themselves can cause undesirable corrosion effects or degrade the oxygen only at an insufficient rate or decompose hydrazine during storage.
Komplexverbindungen eingesetzt (DE-PS 1 521 749, DE-PS 2 115 463).To avoid this disadvantage, organic reducing agents have been used as activators. There are particularly quinoid compounds, aromatic diamines, aminophenols, sulfonic acids, heterocyclic compounds and organic. Complex compounds used (DE-PS 1 521 749, DE-PS 2 115 463).

However, organic reducing agents as activators have the serious drawback of diminishing their impact during the removal of oxygen as a function of time.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The object of the invention is that the removal of dissolved oxygen in water using hydrazine as a seeding agent does not diminish the effectiveness of the activator as time progresses during the removal of the oxygen.
Darlegung des Wesens der ErfindungExplanation of the essence of the invention
It was the task of developing a suitable activator system for the removal of dissolved oxygen in water with hydrazine as a reducing agent, which avoids the mentioned disadvantage of lessening the effectiveness of continued oxygen action.
This object is achieved in that the aqueous hydrazine solution containing hydroquinone as an organic activator, soluble silver salts are added as a co-activator.
Hydrazine solutions containing 10 to 25% by weight of hydrazine are preferably used, in which 0.05 to 0.3% by weight of hydroquinone are dissolved and silver ions are added in the form of soluble silver salts. Suitable silver salts are silver sulfate and silver nitrate. The amount of silver can be very small. Already 0.001 mass% are well effective. 0.01% by weight is preferably used.
Higher levels of silver offer no further advantages. "Using hydroquinone-containing hydrazine solutions containing silver ions to remove oxygen dissolved in water in the usual pH range of 10 to 11, the effect of hydrazine solution containing only hydroquinone can be reduced with continued re-exposure to oxygen safely prevented.
Anwendungsbeispielexample
Außerdem löste man je Liter 14,4- bzw. In one liter of an aqueous hydrazine solution containing 200 g of hydrazine per liter, 1.5 S of hydroquinone was dissolved. In addition, dissolved per liter 14.4 or 144 mg of silver sulfate, so that, the silver content of the activated hydrazine solution was 10 mg or 100 mg per liter. Of the thus activated hydrazine solutions, one ml each was added to one liter of oxygen-containing water having a pH of 10.4, and the oxygen content was measured immediately after admixing and after a reaction time of 10 minutes. Then the water containing hydrazine and activator was again supplied with oxygen by gassing with air and the oxygen content was measured immediately after completion of the fumigation and after a reaction time of 10 min. This process was repeated several times. For comparison, hydrazine-containing solutions containing only hydroquinone as the activator were treated equally. All experiments were carried out at a temperature of 293 E. The results are summarized in the table.
