Abstract
Description
Horizontální vrstevné dopravní značeníHorizontal layered traffic signs
Oblast technikyField of technology
The invention relates to horizontal markings at the edges of roads, in places where the road profile has a convex shape.
Naproti jeho silnou stránkou je detailní přiřazení předmětu značení k lokalitě (zde se nachází přechod pro chodce, zúžení vozovky apod.).At present, double markings are used on roads all over the world, on the one hand vertical markings, where traffic signs are placed vertically on poles or suspension structures, and horizontal, colored line or sign elements directly on the road surface. The weakness of the vertical signage is its easy overlookability in conditions where the driver's attention can easily distract other stimuli (eg advertisements, surrounding terrain, city traffic, etc.) and poorer assignability to the place (eg the sign "caution, pedestrian crossing does not indicate how long that pedestrian crossing follows). Vertical markings, on the other hand, provide the driver well in advance with information on what will follow, and are better seen from a greater distance. The weak point of horizontal marking is its poorer visibility at a distance and its virtually zero visibility in places where the road profile has a convex shape (ie in places of decreasing ascent, increasing descent and on the tops of hills). Opposite its strong point is the detailed assignment of the signage subject to the locality (there is a pedestrian crossing, a narrowing of the road, etc.).
Regarding horizontal color marking, for example from CZ 1993-2327 A1, reflective bodies made of transparent material are known, provided on their surface with colored spots distributed so that light can enter the reflective bodies and emerge from them with sufficient intensity to form a backlash. reflection. These reflectors are inserted into the surface of the coating of roads or other traffic areas or are placed on horizontal markings. Also described is a method of manufacturing these reflectors, in which the reflectors are allowed to fall out of a storage container and, when falling, are sprayed with a finely divided paint, in particular in a spray tower with a mist-spray paint.
CZ 1989-3131 AI je známa termoplastová hmota pro vodorovné značení komunikací, která sestává z 15 až 30 % hmota, polypropylenu, 1 až 20 % hmota, oxidu titaničitého, 1 až 30 % hmota, křídy, případně 1 až 10 % hmota, oleje a zbytek je plnidlo tvořené kupříkladu mramorovou drží, křemenným pískem, drceným sklem nebo jejich směsí o velikosti až 2 mm.CZ 1989-3131 A1 is a known thermoplastic material for horizontal marking of roads, which consists of 15 to 30% by weight, polypropylene, 1 to 20% by weight, titanium dioxide, 1 to 30% by weight, chalk, possibly 1 to 10% by weight, oil and the remainder is a filler consisting of, for example, marble sticks, quartz sand, crushed glass or mixtures thereof of up to 2 mm in size.
From EP 1503228 B1, DE 19521847 A1 or EP 1347099 A1 various reflective bodies are known, such as balls of glass, plastic, etc., which are applied to the colors by which the stripes are formed by means of an adhesive. Various devices for their uniform application are also described in the documents. However, as mentioned above, in certain parts of the road, the light cone does not fall on these reflective stripes.
Obrubník slouží pouze k informaci o šířce vozovky, respektive kde začíná chodník.GB 485940 describes a curb provided with a light-reflecting colored layer, the surface of which, which protrudes above the road surface, is provided with vertical grooves with inclined walls perpendicular to the road surface, both on the horizontal and inclined vertical surfaces of the curb. The file further states that instead of scratches, the surface of the curb may be provided with bubbles, protrusions or cavities. However, a curb made in this way does not allow the driver to show the path of the road towards the horizon, since the light is only reflected from the grooves or bulges, instead of being guided further. The curb is used only for information about the width of the road, or where the sidewalk begins.
Vytváří tak zdrsnění vozovky a umožňuje akusticky varovat řidičeUS 20090060653 discloses a flat or square protective tile provided with protrusions on its surface, which is fastened to a curb or a road surface by means of screws or other fixing elements. This roughens the road and allows the driver to be warned audibly
- 1 CZ 308230 B6 vozu v případě jeho vyjetí z jízdního pruhu. Ochranný prvek neumožňuje podélné rozvedení světla do dálky k obzoru.- 1 CZ 308230 B6 car in case of its departure from the lane. The protection element does not allow the longitudinal distribution of light at a distance to the horizon.
Spis US 5108218 popisuje pružný tenký pás pevně uložený na povrchu vozovky opatřený na své horní ploše výstupky s rozsetými drobnými skleněnými perličkami lámajícími světelné paprsky, a tak lépe informujícími řidiče kudy vede značení položené na vozovce. Ani toto neumožňuje podélné vedení světla do dálky, a umožňuje pouze krátkodistanční odraz informující řidiče o směru vozovky na krátkou vzdálenost.U.S. Pat. No. 5,108,818 describes a flexible thin strip fixedly mounted on a road surface provided on its upper surface with protrusions with scattered small glass beads refracting light rays, and thus better informing the driver where the road markings lead. Even this does not allow the longitudinal guidance of the light into the distance, and allows only a short-distance reflection informing the driver of the direction of the road for a short distance.
Pat. No. 5,227,221 describes a plastic strip provided on its surface with protrusions of reflective paint with small reflective particles, which is deposited on the road surface. However, such an embodiment does not allow the longitudinal distribution of light over a long distance.
Takovéto provedení je však nákladné, málo odolné vůči vnějším vlivům a neumožňuje podélný rozvod světla.CZ 10599 presents reflective elements in the form of longitudinal strips or feet of traffic signs intended to be placed on the road surface when the organization of traffic in lanes changes, eg due to repairs. The light is reflected here by means of reflective eyelets, foil or paint. However, such an embodiment is expensive, not very resistant to external influences and does not allow longitudinal light distribution.
Cílem vynálezu je představit horizontální vrstevné dopravní značení, které by umožnilo spojit kvality horizontálního a vertikálního značení, tedy zachovat polohovou přesnost značení, a přitom zlepšit jeho viditelnost na dálku. The object of the invention is to present a horizontal layered road marking which would make it possible to combine the qualities of horizontal and vertical marking, i.e. to maintain the positional accuracy of the marking, while improving its distance visibility.
Podstata vynálezuThe essence of the invention
The above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated to a large extent by a horizontal layered traffic sign consisting of a concrete body which is arranged fixedly at the road edge with its lower part, the upper part having a horizontal dimension and visible above the road, a shaped surface being formed on the side facing the road. a reflective color enabling the reflection of light, the essence of which lies in the fact that the shaped surface is made as convex strip bulges parallel to the road surface between which the depressions are formed as conical grooves.
Objasnění výkresůExplanation of drawings
Vynález bude blíže vysvětlen pomocí výkresů, kde obr. 1 představuje schematický řez horizontálním vršte vným dopravním značením podle vynálezu a obr. 2 představuje axonometrický pohled na segment horizontálního vrstevného dopravního značení z obr. 1.The invention will be explained in more detail with the aid of the drawings, in which FIG. 1 is a schematic section of a horizontal superimposed traffic sign according to the invention and FIG. 2 is an axonometric view of a segment of the horizontal layered traffic sign of FIG.
Příklady uskutečnění vynálezuExamples of embodiments of the invention
2. It can be seen in Fig. 1 that the horizontal layered traffic sign 1 consists of a longitudinal concrete body 2, which is fixed with its lower part 4 firmly on the edge of the road 3. The upper part 5 is then visible above the road 3. On the side facing the road 3 the upper part 5 of the body 2 is provided with a shaped surface. Thus, the surface of the increased horizontal marking is not uniform, but formed by several layers of convex strip bulges 6 parallel to the road surface between which there are grooves 7. This can be seen in Fig. 2. The shaped surface containing bulges 6 and grooves 7 is then provided with a reflective paint. The spatial reliefs made in this way, like the road in each part, have different angular conditions in terms of the incidence of light from the vehicle's headlights, thanks to which enough light is reflected to the arriving motor vehicle at all times, so this marking is always visible in some part. greater distances.
-2CZ 308230 B6-2GB 308230 B6
The signage according to the invention differs from a conventional reflective-painted concrete curb or curb provided with vertical notches known from the prior art by providing a visible light-reflecting sign from the horizon allowing the driver to follow the road towards the horizon as the light is guided back from a great distance.
It is particularly advantageous to use markings in case the road is slightly undulating. Although there is no indication in the part of the road below the horizon due to the markings, as soon as the road starts to rise, a reflection from the markings according to the invention appears.
The poor visibility of the known horizontal markings is due in large part to the poor angle of inclination of the markings to the light coming from the headlights of motor vehicles. Most of the light that is reflected from the surface of the reflective paint is reflected in a different direction than back to the motor vehicle due to poor angular conditions, so the driver does not see this marking at a greater distance. If this angle were close to perpendicular, most of the light would bounce back to the driver and this marking would not be visible over long distances. Due to the variable angular conditions in the convex as well as the concave profile, it is necessary to take this into account in the design of the innovation.
For the above reasons, the area of the proposed horizontal marking is not uniform, but formed by several layers of convex bulges 6 in the form of stripes parallel to the road surface, on which, similarly to the road in each part there are different angular conditions, so that the incoming motor vehicle in each momentarily reflects enough light to make this marking visible over greater distances. Due to the fact that this marking is impassable, its use is also suitable in cases where it can mark, for example, narrowing of roads or connections of lanes, or between lanes, such as an inserted island at a pedestrian crossing.
