Technical field

The technical solution concerns the composition of capsules containing a lyophilized mixture of selected strains of probiotic bacteria, dried cow colostrum, prebiotics and selected minerals and vitamins.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Over the past few years, there has been a growing interest in the use of colostrum and its ingredients for the production of nutritional supplements, functional foods and cosmetics due to the content of a number of nutritionally important and bioactive substances. The main aim of the present utility model was to utilize the positive properties of cow colostrum in combination with selected strains of probiotic bacteria with prebiotics for the production of a new food supplement in the form of gelatin capsules. Supplementation with selected vitamins solves the current deficiency of some vitamins (Vit. D) and vitamin E also extends the shelf-life of the capsules produced with undiluted colostrum thanks to its antioxidant effect.

The essence of the technical solution

The above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated by a capsule containing a lyophilized mixture of strains of probiotic bacteria, dried cow colostrum, prebiotics, selected minerals and vitamins, according to the present invention, which comprises 40 to 80 wt. % dried cow colostrum, 10 to 40 wt. % of prebiotics, 5 to 15 wt. % of a selected lyophilized mixture of probiotic bacteria and 5 to 15 wt. of mineral substances. The capsule further comprises 0.001 to 0.01 wt. vit. % D ₃ and 0.005 to 0.02 wt. vit. E.

Examples of technical solutions

A capsule containing a lyophilized mixture of selected strains of probiotic bacteria, dried cow colostrum and prebiotics comprises 60 wt. % of defatted cow's colostrum, 10 wt. lyophilized mixtures of probiotic bacteria containing strains of Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. % bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus gasseri, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, 0.01 wt. vit. % E and 29.99 wt. inulin.

2. A capsule containing a lyophilized mixture of selected strains of bifidobacteria, dried cow colostrum and prebiotics contains 50 wt. % non-defatted cow colostrum, 8 wt. lyophilized mixtures of bifidobacteria containing strains of Bidobacterium animalis spp. % lactis BB12, Bifidobacterium breve and Bifidobacterium bifidum; % Aquamin with a high content of magnesium and calcium and 32 wt. inulin.

A capsule containing a lyophilized mixture of selected strains of probiotic bacteria, dried cow colostrum and prebiotics contains 65 wt. % of defatted cow's colostrum, 10 wt. lyophilized mixtures of probiotic bacteria containing Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus gasseri, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bidobacterium animalis spp. lactis BB12, Bifidobacterium breve and Bifidobacterium bifidum, 10 wt. % Aquamin with a high content of magnesium and calcium and 15 wt. inulin.

A capsule containing a lyophilized mixture of selected strains of probiotic bacteria, dried cow colostrum and prebiotics contains 55 wt. % of defatted cow's colostrum, 10 wt. lyophilized mixtures of probiotic bacteria containing Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus gasseri, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bidobacterium animalis spp. lactis BB12, Bifidobacterium breve and Bifidobacterium bifidum,

10 wt. lyophilized mixtures of lactic acid bacteria containing Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. % bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus gasseri and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, 0.001 wt. vit. % D3 and 39.999 wt. inulin.

Industrial Applicability The above mentioned technical solution can be used as nutritional supplements and functional foods due to the content of a number of nutritionally important and bioactive substances.

Capsule comprising a lyophilized mixture of strains of probiotic bacteria, dried cow colostrum, prebiotics, selected minerals and vitamins, characterized in that: 15 contains 40 to 80 wt. % dried cow colostrum, 10 to 40 wt. % prebiotics, 5 to 15 wt. % lyophilized mixtures of probiotic lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria and 5 to 15 wt. of mineral substances. Capsule according to claim 1, characterized in that it contains from 0.005 to 0.02% by weight. vit. E, to provide oxidative stability. Capsule according to claim 1, characterized in that it contains from 0.001 to 0.01 wt. vit. D3.
