Oblast technikyTechnical field
The technical solution concerns the field of beekeeping, namely the creation of a full-fed bee feed.
Dosavadní stav technikyBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Stres vede ke zhoršené tvorbě peritrofické membrány jenž chrání výstelku ventricula, tedy části trávicí soustavy před ostrými výrůstky pylových zrn a zároveň je bariérou proti vstupu infekčních agens. At present, bees are under the influence of a number of stressful factors that can cause a so-called cocktail effect, which results in the colony's death. Stress leads to impaired formation of the peritrophic membrane that protects the lining of the ventricula, a part of the digestive system, from sharp pollen grains, and at the same time is a barrier against infectious agents. One of the key factors of bee health is quality natural food in the form of honey and pollen. At a time when the natural pollen content is reduced, especially in autumn and winter, it is essential that bees survive to be fed. Among the best known and most common forms of supplementary feeding are the delivery of sugar solution or honey-sugar dough to bee colonies during periods of poor bee food. Honey-dough is a mixture of liquid honey and white powdered sugar in the consistency of a very slightly flowing slurry. The sugar solution is made up of conventional bee-processed sugars and water. Decreased quality and limited variety of pollen and replacement of honey with sugar is considered to be one of the causes of a significant reduction in bee defenses against diseases from larvae stage to adults. Alternative protein sources used include soybean meal, dried yeast, milk powder, casein or dried egg yolk. All of these supplements are deficient in that they are less attractive to bees and, above all, pose a risk of over-feeding an unbalanced diet associated with its toxicity. To date, there is no honey and pollen substitute that has been shown to increase the health resistance of bees.
Moreover, at present there is practically no effective and safe agent useful for suppressing spores and growing the culture of Paenibacillus larvae. This bacterium represents the causative agent of bee brood both in its vegetative and at rest stages. For many years this honeybee disease has been controlled by pyrethroids, organophosphates and, above all, antibiotics. The greatest risk from the use of these substances is contamination of bee products, especially honey. In addition, P. larvae is able to easily develop resistance to these agents. For these reasons, alternative substances with antibiotic effects of natural origin are currently being intensively sought. Examples of natural substances tested in beekeeping practice are, for example, spice extracts or various essential oils. However, the main disadvantage of not only all the above-mentioned synthetic substances but also the newly discovered natural substances exhibiting P. larvae inhibitory activity remains their various undesirable side effects on the bee population. Therefore, there is a continuing interest in the search for new compounds exhibiting P. larvae inhibitory activity with minimal adverse effects.
The object of the present invention is to provide a bee feed which is a beneficial and varied source of bee nutrients in a period that is poor in natural pollen sources, which has been shown to have a positive effect on bee health resistance and exhibits P inhibitory activity. larvae, a bacterium that causes bee plague.
Podstata technického řešeníThe essence of the technical solution
Dále pak tato řasa obsahuje významný podíl polysacharidů, a to 20 až 50 %, tuků 10 až 20 %, z toho 3 % nenasycených mastných kyselin, vitaminů a minerálů, a to 10 až 15 %, chlorofylů, a to 3 až 4 %, karotenoidů a anti-1 CZ 29834 Ul oxidantů v min. množství 1 % a vlákniny v min. množství 5 %. Řasa Chlorella sp. se dále vyznačuje přítomností tzv. Chlorella růstového faktoru - CRF známého též pod zkratkou CGF (z angl. Chlorella Growth Factor). Připravuje se z vodného extraktu buněk a má velmi komplexní složení zahrnující kromě jiného i řadu zajímavých minoritních látek, známých i dosud neidentifikovaných. Připisuje sejí mnoho funkcí v organismu, např. slouží jako lapač volných radikálů, snižuje obsah krevních lipidů, podporuje obnovu a tvorbu bílých krvinek a i celkovou obranyschopnost organismu. Příznivě působí na řadu dalších funkcí, takže lze mluvit o harmonizující roli tohoto komplexu na zdraví lidí i zvířat, včely nevyjímaje. The task is solved with bee feed containing a sugar component and water according to the present invention. The essence of the invention is that it contains 55 to 90 wt. 0.5 to 20 wt. % water and further comprises 0.1 to 20.0 wt. Algae Chlorella sp. in the form of dried algal biomass. Chlorella sp. is a very attractive food for bees. The biomass composition of this algae is varied, very similar to pollen and, moreover, can be very easily influenced by changing cultivation conditions. Algae biomass is primarily a rich source of protein, up to 40 to 60%. Protein intake and content in bee bodies is very closely related to their longevity, activity and the amount of work done. Furthermore, this algae contains a significant proportion of polysaccharides, namely 20 to 50%, fats 10 to 20%, of which 3% are unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, namely 10 to 15%, chlorophylls, and 3 to 4%, carotenoids and anti-1 min oxidants. amount of 1% and fiber in min. amount 5%. Algae Chlorella sp. is also characterized by the presence of the so-called Chlorella Growth Factor - CRF, also known as CGF (Chlorella Growth Factor). It is prepared from an aqueous extract of cells and has a very complex composition including, among other things, a number of interesting minor substances, both known and not yet identified. It is attributed to many functions in the body, for example, it serves as a free radical scavenger, reduces blood lipid content, promotes the recovery and production of white blood cells, as well as the body's overall defenses. It has a positive effect on many other functions, so we can talk about the harmonizing role of this complex on human and animal health, including bees.
Vedle všech výše uvedených tzv. primárních metabolitů obsahuje zelená řasa Chlorella sp. i široké spektrum tzv. sekundárních metabolitů. In addition to all of the above-mentioned primary metabolites, the green alga Chlorella sp. and a wide range of so-called secondary metabolites. Secondary algal metabolites generally differ from higher plants, fungi and bacteria not only in their chemical structure, but also in the spectrum of biological activities such as antibacterial, allellopathic, antiviral, fungicidal activity or inhibitory activity against a number of enzymes. This algae also contains a group of substances which have an inhibitory effect on the causative agent of the bee brood bacterium P. larvae, both in its vegetative and resting stages.
In a preferred embodiment, the feed further comprises 5 to 10 wt. honey and is in the form of a sugar-dough, wherein the water content is from 0.5 to 5% by weight.
In another preferred embodiment, the feed is in the form of a sugar solution, wherein the water content is greater than 5 and less than 20% by weight.
The addition of algae to bee feed according to the present invention results in a threefold increase in telomerase activity, suggesting a strengthening of bee health, including its defense against viral, bacterial or parasitic infections. The introduction of bee feed can also have a beneficial effect not only on resistance to bee plague, but also on the overall health of bee colonies and their longevity.
S výhodou cukernou složku tvoří sacharóza a/nebo glukóza a/nebo fřuktóza.Preferably, the sugar component is sucrose and / or glucose and / or fucose.
In particular, the advantages of the present invention are that bee feed is a convenient and varied source of bee nutrients in a period that is poor in natural pollen sources that has been shown to have a positive effect on bee health resistance and may exhibit P. inhibitory activity. larvae, a bacterium that causes bee plague. Dense cell suspension of Chlorella sp. after centrifugation on a plate centrifuge, it leads to a pressure cell disintegrator where the cellulose cell walls are effectively broken, thereby significantly increasing the digestibility of the biomass. The disintegrated algal biomass can be used directly to prepare a sugar solution or a sugar-dough, where the biomass is mixed with sugar. An alternative procedure consists in introducing disintegrated algal biomass into an extractor in which a soluble fraction called Chlorella Growth Factor (CRF) is extracted with hot water while stirring. This fraction is removed in a separator, by means of a centrifuge, to form a concentrated solid fraction with a density of 150 to 250 g of biomass / l. This solid fraction can then be used for feeding bees as well as starting unextracted biomass.

Příklad 1Example 1
Složení medocukrového těsta pro podněcování včel je z 10 dílů práškového cukru, 1 dílu medu, 1,5 dílu vodovodní vody a 0,5 dílu řasy Chlorella sp. V jiném příkladu provedení může místo medu obsahovat 1 díl sirupu. 250 g takto připraveného medocukrového těsta s řasou je umístěno do mikrotenového sáčku a sáček je uzavřen zatavením. Hmota medocukrového těsta se před podáním včelám nechá uležet cca 14 dnů v temnu při teplotě 10 °C.The composition of honey-bee dough for inciting bees consists of 10 parts of powdered sugar, 1 part of honey, 1.5 parts of tap water and 0.5 parts of Chlorella sp. In another embodiment, instead of honey, it may contain 1 part syrup. 250 g of seaweed dough prepared in this way are placed in a microtene bag and the bag is sealed. The honey-sugar dough mass is allowed to lie for about 14 days in the dark at 10 ° C before being administered to the bees.
Composition of sugar solution with algae Chlorella sp. for podletní feed bees, ie after the last honey, usually in the second half of July until the end of August, contains 3 parts granulated sugar, 2 parts tap water. 25 g of algae are dissolved in a solution of 4-5 liters thus prepared. Warm algae sugar solution can be given immediately to bees.
The procedure for wrapping bees with algae dough with algae is described in Example 3. The encouraged colonies receive a total of up to 2 kg of algae dough with algae Chlorella sp. in four doses. One dose is 500 g of dough with algae, twice 250 g, which is placed in a thin layer on the upper hive meadows. The microtene bag is broken so that the dough is immediately accessible to the bees. The interval between individual doses of dough is 6 to 8 days, so the time for breaking bees is approximately one month.
The process of wrapping bees with Chlorella sp., A sugar solution, as described in Example 4. 100 g of algae are mixed into the sugar solution administered by the total of one colony during the bee feeding season to create winter stocks. It is advisable to create sugar stores, for example by administering four doses of sugar solution, that is 25 g of algae per colony. This amount of algae should be mixed in 4-5 liters of sugar solution. The feed thus prepared may be administered by bees feeding from above in a container with a float such as straw, bubble wrap, polystyrene, and the like.
