BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to the composition of a non-volatile metal alloy, particularly for use in casting a model and in the field of electroforming. in
Dosavadní_3tav_techniky
In the foundry industry and in the production of galvanoplastics, so far, the technology of smelting models for galvanic forming prepared from the special waxes with an electrically conductive layer has been used. The advantage of wax-blown technologies is their lengthiness in galvanic processes. In sharp folds, the electrically conductive layer is damaged and a very uneven coating of metal is applied. Another disadvantage of the wax models is that they cannot be used where thin and longer protrusions or other fine surface finishes of the final product are concerned.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The above mentioned drawbacks are eliminated entirely by the use of a low-melting alloy, which allows for fast casting at temperatures from 60 to 90 ° C, both by conventional casting and by pressure and centrifugal casting. The liquid alloy of the present invention solves the problem by comprising 35-60% bismuth, 8-45% lead, 0-20% cadmium 0-50% by weight, and 7-45% tin.
In order to achieve a suitable melting and casting theol, electric and thermal conductivity and casting properties, the alloy can be supplemented by the addition of gallium, zinc or thallium to%% by weight. The advantage of the low-melting alloy according to the invention, wherein the electrical conductivity is at least 2% of the electrical conductivity of copper with minimum negative or positive solidification shrinkage properties and has a melting point in the range of 37 98 ° C. The alloy allows the use of various modern polymer-based molding materials and silicon, but also other types of metal, wood, stone, plaster and other mold making materials. The advantage of the low melting temperature of the alloy 4 according to the invention is that, with a slight increase in temperature above the melting point, this material has a high flowability, it is not necessary to preheat the molds to temperatures above the normal working environment. Due to the low melting temperature, the thermal energy required for the technological process is saved - it is almost a cold casting. Another advantage is that the melting of the model is carried out with minimal heat demand. Low melting alloy usable for high precision castings with po; The desired TTA melting point of 60 ° C is comprised of 48-53% bismuth, 17-22% lead, 11-16% tin, 20-25% indium. Up to 4% by weight of gallium, thalin or zinc are added to the alloy.
Another exemplary embodiment of a low melting alloy for castings where the surface is not required to be so high with the desired melting point of TTA 70 ° C is 49-54% bismuth, 25-30% lead, 12-17% tin, 9-14% Weight kactose. Up to 4% by weight of gallium or zinc is added to the alloy. ~ r (3
Industrial usability
The low-melting alloy of the present invention is intended to produce curable models for the rapid casting of conventional or pressurized or centrifugal casting using various molding materials. The Greatest You; The alloy has a galvanic alloy. ~ S 1 9
