Description
Oblast technikyTechnical field
The technical solution relates to the composition of a polymer composite with natural coconut-based fiber fillers for the production of plastic parts with higher performance properties.
Dosavadní stav technikyBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Polymeric materials and their composites are among the most progressively developing materials, because polymeric materials represent the most important segment of production and consumption by volume among all engineering materials and there is no doubt that they are key to a modern engineering company. The current development of polymer materials and their processing technologies will continue to grow in volume, and the success of individual materials developed by basic and applied research will be influenced to a large extent by the price / utility value of the material. This area of research also includes the replacement of glass fibers with natural fibers, which are of environmental interest from polymer processors. The application of natural fibers is an important material variation, which is traditionally directed not only to the automotive industry, but also to the areas of consumer industry, medical applications, etc. The advantage of natural fibers compared to other fibrous materials (used in composites) is their low weight, low abrasion (preventing wear on processing machines), combustibility, nontoxicity, biodegradability and above all low price, independent of oil price.
Natural fibers are now used in industry as reinforcement of shaped large-area parts, eg wood sawdust, containing cellulose fibers and polypropylene non-woven linen materials. It should be pointed out, however, that these are practically only products made by pressing, not by injection molding, where high demands are placed on the quality, dimensional and shape accuracy of the manufactured parts. Injection of synthetic composites with natural fillers is a very poorly explored area with great potential and potential and a prerequisite for a significant increase, and this proposed technical solution is also directed to this area.
(např. výplně dveří a zvukové izolace), zadní kryt motoru autobusu vyrobený z rohože přírodních vláken, apod.Historically, the application of composites dates back to 1908, when a composite material based on phenolic resin reinforced with wood flour (L. Baekeland) was first used. Owens-Illincis Glass Co. developed glass fibers (1933), the first applications of so-called fiberglass, ie polymer composites with glass fibers, such as aircraft radar covers (1942) or body parts of passenger cars (1956, by Citroen), are gradually emerging. The hidden reality of today is the use of natural fibers for the production of polymer composites used for the production of large-area parts of inner padding and outer parts of car bodies and other transport technologies. The share of biocomposites is growing every year, but there are still few technical solutions and possibilities. The most widely used natural fibers are hemp, jute, flax, cotton, sisal and wood. Well-known applications are parts in Mercedes C-Class, Daimler AG. (eg door panels and sound insulation), the rear engine cover made of natural fiber mats, etc.
Tlak na aplikace takovýchto materiálů neustále vzrůstá, a to nejenom v důsledku ekonomické situace (cena ropy seThe proposed technical solution responds to the increasing demand and requirements for these materials, which, however, have not been widely used in the Czech Republic. The pressure on the application of such materials is constantly increasing, not only because of the economic situation (the price of oil is increasing

The essence of the invention is that the composite comprises from 58.5 to 88.5% by weight of polypropylene, 10 to 40% by weight of natural coconut fibers (fiber length from 0.2 to 2 mm) and from 1 to 1.5% by weight of an additive a silicone base and from 0.1 to 0.4% by weight of an additive based on peroxidic dialkyls which act as a chemical catalyst.
