Abstract

Περιγράφεται μια συσκευή και μια μέθοδος για τον προσδιορισμό της ταχύτητας ροής ενός ρευστού ή ενός συστατικού ρευστού σε έναν αγωγό. Η συσκευή περιλαμβάνει έναν πομπό προσαρμοσμένο ώστε να τοποθετείται μέσα στον αγωγό και διατεταγμένο ώστε να μεταδίδει ένα υπερηχητικό σήμα στο ρευστό ή το συστατικό ρευστού σε μια πρώτη κατεύθυνση• έναν δέκτη προσαρμοσμένο ώστε να τοποθετείται μέσα στον αγωγό και διατεταγμένο ώστε να δέχεται ένα διαχεόμενο υπερηχητικό σήμα , που παράγεται από τη διασπορά του υπερηχητικού σήματος από το ρευστό ή το συστατικό ρευστού σε μια δεύτερη κατεύθυνση, όπου η δεύτερη κατεύθυνση είναι διαφορετική από την πρώτη κατεύθυνση, και να παρέχει ένα σήμα δέκτη που αντιπροσωπεύει το διαχεόμενο υπερηχητικό σήμα και μια μονάδα επεξεργασίας διατεταγμένη ώστε να λαμβάνει το εν λόγω σήμα δέκτη και να προσδιορίζει μια διαφορά συχνότητας μεταξύ του μεταδιδόμενου σήματος υπερήχου και του διαχεόμενου υπερηχητικού σήματος και να προσδιορίζει την ταχύτητας ροής του ρευστού ή του συστατικού ρευστού με βάση την εν λόγω διαφορά.
