Abstract

Un método para la recuperación de un compuesto orgánico volátil mediante la fermentación de un material de carbohidratos en un fermentador, permitiéndose que los gases formados durante la fermentación escapen del fermentador desde el espacio por encima de la superficie del líquido, caracterizado porque esa parte del líquido de fermentación es conducido desde el fermentador a u recipiente separado, reposando bajo vacío, de donde el compuesto orgánico es retirado en forma de un vapor bajo presión reducida a o cerca de la temperatura de fermentación.
