Abstract
Un método para fabricar alcohol furfuril por hidrogenación catalítica de furfural en la fase líquida con hidrógeno o con gases que contengan hidrógeno, caracterizado por el hecho de que el proceso es llevado a cabo en un reactor lleno con catalizador estacionario, que contiene después de reducción 30 - 70% por peso de cobre metálico, no menos de 25% por peso de óxidos del II y III grupo del sistema periódico y no más de 5% por peso de activadores, tales como óxido de sodio, y substancias neutrales, tales como grafito, siendo introducido furfural en el reactor después de dilución con los productos de reacción, a una temperatura de una extensión de 100 - 160Grados C.
