Abstract
Procedimiento de reducción selectiva de minerales o escorias oxidadas para extraer por lo menos uno de los metales contenidos en cantidad adecuada, mediante el cual se somete una carga reactiva constituida por el material a tratar y un volumen adecuado del reductor proporcional a la cantidad del material a tratar, a una temperatura elevada. Dicho procedimiento se caracteriza porque la masa reactiva se prepara en dos etapas sucesivas, la primera de las cuales consiste en dispersar el reductor en una cantidad de materia tal que el volumen de la masa reductora obtenida equivalga como mínimo a 3 veces el del reductor. La segunda etapa consiste en mezclar esta masa reductora con los otros constituyentes de la carga reactiva.
