Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un mÉtodo y dispositivo para captar, transmitir y desplegar imAgenes de una escena en tres dimensiones, el dispositivo comprende una cAmara de video estereoscopica que capta, codifica, amplifica y modula la senal de la imagen captada; un receptor-decodificador dual que procesa de manera simultAneas dos senales independientes que portan dos canales diferentes; un visor con dos pantallas de cristal líquido sobre las cuales se proyectan las escenas de la imagen que portan los canales independientes, el canal izquierdo se proyecta sobre la pantalla izquierda y el canal derecho sobre la pantalla derecha. Este mÉtodo y dispositivo puede utilizar tecnología analogica o digital y toda la infraestructura existente para la transmision y recepcion de senales de video en dos dimensiones. Consiste en tomar dos imagÉnes, izquierda y derecha, las cuales se tratan de manera individual, no se mezclan, se envían por dos canales de television independientes las cuales tienen su propio receptor y pantalla de dspliegue. Una de las imAgenes se puede enviar a un monitor de television convencional sin pÉrdida de atributos en la senal.
