Abstract

The subject of the solution is the column reactor for intensive production of biogas of sewage, consisting of a plastic or metallic vertical column with a possibility of heating of the walls of the column electrically or of heating of the contents of the column by direct steam. The column is divided by a perforated floor into two equally large sections. The inlet of the crude sewage and the outlet of the non-decomposed solid parts are mouthed into the lower section terminated by a conical bottom. The upper part of the column is filled with appropriate filling, on which a biological film is immobilised. Both sections can be independently mixed by recycling gas or liquid, while the recycling of the liquid and gas current can be optimized. Recycling of the gas current is performed also by suction into ejector, positioned in the bottom of the column. The biogas is drawn off the column head.<IMAGE>
