Abstract
Se describen técnicas para la codificación en base a la paleta. En la codificación en base a la paleta, un codificador de video puede formar una paleta como una tabla de colores para representar datos de video de un bloque dado. La codificación en base a la paleta puede ser útil para codificar bloques de datos de video que tienen una cantidad relativamente pequeña de colores. En lugar de codificar los valores reales de píxeles o sus residuales para el bloque dado, el codificador de video puede codificar valores de índices para uno o más de los píxeles. Los valores de índices asignan los píxeles a entradas en la paleta que representan los colores de los píxeles. Se describen técnicas para determinar si deshabilitar el filtrado, tales como el desbloqueo del filtrado, o el filtrado de muestra de adaptación compensada (SAO), de bloques codificados por la paleta en un codificador de video o un decodificador de video.
