Abstract
Se describen técnicas para mejorar la codificación de video. Por ejemplo, se puede obtener un primer bloque de una imagen incluida en un flujo de bits de video codificado. Se puede determinar que un segundo bloque de la imagen está codificado (por ejemplo, codificado) con un tipo de modo de modulación de código de impulsos de dominio residual cuantificado (BDPCM) basado en bloques, como el modo BDPCM vertical o el modo BDPCM horizontal.
