Abstract

Un sistema de control por computador de secuencia automática en lotes es configurado hacer funcionar automáticamente válvulas de proceso en un coquizador retardado durante un ciclo completo del tambor de coque. Una doble verificación del movimiento de las válvulas de proceso es utilizada para confirmar el avance al siguiente paso. La verificación principal es lograda por medio de utilizar sensores de posición en las válvulas. La verificación secundaria es lograda por medio de utilizar las condiciones monitoreadas del proceso y confirmar que las condiciones medidas se correlacionen con las condiciones esperadas del proceso para una configuración de las posiciones de la válvula en una secuencia dada en el ciclo del tambor de coque. Un sistema de enclavamiento de seguridad puede estar integrado con el sistema de control.
