Abstract
Se proporcionan composiciones y métodos para conferir actividad pesticida contra bacterias, plantas, células vegetales, tejidos y semillas. Se proporcionan composiciones que comprenden una secuencia codificadora para un polipéptido de delta-endotoxina. Compositions comprising a coding sequence for a delta-endotoxin polypeptide are provided. The coding sequences can be used in DNA constructs or expression cassettes for transformation and expression in plants and bacteria. The compositions also comprise bacteria, plants, plant cells, tissues and transformed seeds. In particular, isolated delta-endotoxin nucleic acid molecules are provided. Additionally, amino acid sequences corresponding to polynucleotides and antibodies that specifically bind said amino acid sequences are included. In particular, the present invention provides isolated nucleic acid molecules comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding the amino acid sequence shown in any of SEQ ID NO: 61-121 and 133-141, or a nucleotide sequence indicated in SEQ ID NO: 1-60,124-132 and 142-283, as well as variants and fragments thereof.
