Abstract

Un método para preparar compuestos lignocelulósicos que comprende los pasos de:(a) Mezclar o licuar material, compuesto de peróxido, cera, y una resina adherente para formar una matriz. (b) Prensar en caliente la matriz.En donde el material es seleccionado del grupo que consta de material maderero, paja, bagazo, corteza de madera, fibra de madera reciclada, fibra de papel reciclado, y mezclas de las mismas. En donde el compuesto de peróxido es seleccionado del grupo que consta de peróxido de hidrogeno, peróxido de sodio, peróxido de bario, peróxido de calcio, peróxido de hidrogeno de urea, ácido peracético, peróxidos orgánicos, y mezclas de allí. En donde la cera es seleccionada del grupo que consta de cera muerta fundida, cera vegetal, y cera de parafina, incluyendo versiones de emulsiones acuosas; en donde la resina adherente es seleccionada del grupo que consta de resina de isocianato, resina de fenol-formaldehído-urea, resina de fenol-formaldehído-melamina, resina de fenol-formaldehído, resina de melamina-urea-fenol-formaldehído, y mezclas de éstas. En donde el contenido de humedad de la matriz antes del prensado en caliente está en el promedio menor que 8%.
