Abstract

Un aparato para separar una mezcla de un componente líquidomenos denso y un componente líquido más denso que comprende un vaso (1) que tiene un eje vertical, una entrada anular para la mezcla (5) en el fondo del vaso y una abertura hacia arriba, la entrada es provista con medios (4) para originar que la mezcla gire alrededor de un eje vertical en la medida en que esta sale de la entrada, una primera salida (8) en el centro de la entrada anular para la descarga de primariamente el componente líquido menos denso que ha sido dirigido hacia adentro del vórtice creado por el líquido giratorio, y una segunda salida (10) hacia el fondo del vaso y espaciada de la primera entrada para descargar primariamente el componente líquido más denso que ha sido forzado a salir del eje vertical del vaso por fuerzas centrífugas del líquido giratorio.
