Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un artículo absorbente,tal como un pañal desechable, que tiene una capa de loción en la superficie de los puños de pierna que está en un estado semisólido o sólido a temperaturas ambiente (i. e. a 20°C) y está adaptada para ser transferida a la piel del usuario. Cuando se transfiere a la piel, la loción provee ventajas deseables de loción de capa terapéutica y/o protectora que resulta en menos irritación a la piel y también reduce la adherencia de la materia fecal a la piel del usuario, con lo cual también se mejora la facilidad de limpiar la materia fecal. El recubrimiento de los puños con loción que se revela en la presente invención también aumenta la hidrofobocidad de los puños, con lo cual se mejora el funcionamiento de control de escape. La capa de loción hidrófoba permite la flexibilidad en los diseños de puños que utilizan materiales no tejidos mediante la provisión de un método alternativo para lograr la hidrofobocidad deseada. Esto puede conducir a costos reducidos de material.Es un propósito de la presente invención proveer un pañal que tiene puños de pierna con loción en donde la loción es transferible a la piel del usuario y provee ventajas terapéuticas deseables, que resulta en menos irritación a la piel.Es un propósito adicional de la presente invención proveer un pañal que tiene puños de pierna con loción en donde la loción es transferible a la piel del usuario y eficaz en reducir la adherencia de la materia fecal a la piel, mejorando así la facilidad de limpiar la materia fecal.Es un propósito adicional de la presente invención proveer un pañal desechable que tiene puños de pierna que tiene propiedades mejoradas de contención de líquido.Es aún otro propósito deseable de la presente invención proveer pañales que tienen puños de pierna con loción que no requieren niveles relativamente elevados de aceite mineral, y no requierenenvolturas o materiales de barrera especiales para empacar.
