Abstract

Se revela un artículo absorbente, tal como un panal, que contiene punos de pierna recubiertos con una composicion de locion. Las lociones que se revelanminimizan la abrasion entre los punos y la piel en el área donde los punos contactan la piel delu suario, resultando en menos irritacion a la piel. Lascomposiciones de lociones también reducen la adherencia de la materia fecal a la piel del usuario, con lo cual se mejora la facilidad de limpieza de la materiafecal. La composicion de locioncompre nde un emoliente de polisiloxano plástico o fluido tal como polimetilsiloxanos fenil-funcionales, un agente inmovilizantetal como un alcohol graso o cera de parafina para inmovilizar el emoliente en la superficie de los punos de pierna delpanal, y o pcionalmente un surfactantehidrofobo para mejorar la capacidad de procesar y/o estabilidad de las composiciones de locion. Debido a que el emoliente de polisiloxano se inmovilizasubstancialmente en la superficie del puno de pierna, serequiere menos locion para impartir las ventajas deseadas de locion terapéutica o protectora.
