Abstract
Un procedimiento para la preparación de un compuesto defluorolefina que tiene la fórmula estructural Ien la cual R es hidrógeno o alquilo C1 -C4 , y R1 es alquilo C1 -C4 , haloaquilo C1 -C4 , o ciclopropilo, o R y R1 se toma conjuntamente con el átomo de carbono al cual están unidos para formar un grupo ciclopropilo;Ar es fenilo opcionalmente substituido con hasta tres grupos independientemente seleccionados de átomos de halógeno, grupos alquilo C1 -C4 , grupos haloalquilo C1 -C4 , grupos alcoxi C1 -C4 , o grupos haloalcoxi C1 -C4 , o 1- ó 2- naftiloopcionalmente substituido con hasta tres grupos independientemente seleccionados de átomos de halógeno, grupos alquilo C1 -C4 , grupos haloalquilo C1 -C4 , grupos alcoxi C1 -C4 , o grupos haloalcoxi C1 -C4 ;Ar1 es fenoxifenilo opcionalmente substituido con hasta cinco grupos independientemente selecccionados de átomos de halógeno, grupos alquilo C1 -C4 , grupos haloalquilo C1 -C4 , grupos alcoxi C1 -C4 , o grupos haloalcoxi C1 -C4 ;bifenilo opcionalmente substituido con hasta cinco grupos independientemente seleccionados de átomos de halógeno, grupos alquilo C1 -C4 , grupos haloalquilo C1 -C4 , grupos alcoxi C1 -C4 , ó grupos haloalcoxi C1 -C4 , bencilfenilo opcionalmente sustituido con hasta cinco grupos independientemente seleccionados de átomos de halógeno, grupos alquilo C1 -C4 , grupos haloalquilo C1 -C4 , grupos alcoxi C1 -C4 o grupos haloalcoxi C1 -C4 ; obenzoilfenilo opcionalmente substituido con hasta cinco grupos independientemente seleccionados de átomos de halógeno, grupos alquilo C1 -C4 , grupos haloalquilo C1 -C4 , grupos alcoxi C1 -C4 o grupos haloalcoxi C1 -C4 ;y la configuración de los grupos ArCRR1 - y - CH2 Ar1 alrededor del doble enlace es - 2 -predominantemente mutuamente trans, cuyo procedimiento comprende:a) Fluorar un compuesto de butanoato de 4-aril-3-oxo-2-(bencilo substituido) que tiene la fórmula estructural II en la cual R2 es alquilo C1 -C6 y Ar, Ar1 , R y R1 son tal como se han descrito más arriha en presencia de una primera base para formar un compuesto de butanoato de 4-aril-2 flúor-3-oxo-2-(bencilo substituido) que tiene la fórmula estructural IIIen la cual Ar, Ar1 , R, R1 , y R2 son tal como se han descrito precedentemente;b) reducir el compuesto de fórmula III para formar un compuesto de butanoato de 4-aril-2-flúor-3-hidroxi-2-(bencilo substituido) que tienen la fórmula estructural IVen la cual Ar, Ar1 , R, R1 y R2 son tal como se han descrito precedentemente y la configuración de los grupos ArCRR1 CH(OH)- y - CF(CO2 R2 )CH2 Ar1 unidos al enlace rotulado "a" es predominantemente R,S o S,R o una mezcla de los mismos;c) saponificar el compuesto de fórmula IV para formar un compuesto de ácido 4-aril-2-flúor-3-hidroxi-2-butanoico (bencilo substituido) que tiene la fórmula estructural Vdonde Ar, Ar1 , R y R1 son tal como se han descrito más arriba y la configuración de los grupos ArCRR1 CH(OH)- y - CF(CO2 R2 )CH2 Ar1 unidos al enlace rotulado "a" es predominantemente R,S o S,R o una mezcla de los mismos; yd) hacer reaccionar el compuesto de fórmula V con un compuesto de haluro de sulfonilo y una segunda base.
