Abstract

Una ventana de vidrio a prueba de balas, en particular parauso como un parabrisas de un vehículo de motor, que se monta en un bastidor, la ventana de vidrio a prueba de balas comprende varias hojas de vidrio laminadas en una estructura compuesta, de la cual por lo menos una hoja de vidrio sobresale sobrepasando las otras hojas de vidrio con una sección de proyección dentro de un área marginal de la ventana de vidrio a prueba de balas, para formar un escalonamiento o posición escalonada a partir de la sección de proyección con las otras hojas de vidrio en la dirección del lado interior de la ventana de vidrio a prueba de balas, la ventana de vidrio a prueba de balas con la sección de proyección de por lo menos una hoja de vidrio se fija al bastidor, caracterizada porque la superficie en el área del escalonamiento o porción escalonada se proporciona con un borde elaborado de material sintético que mantiene en la parte trasera las astillas de vidrio.
