Abstract
Un procedimiento para recuperar o incrementar la recuperación depetróleo y/o gas, de un yacimiento subterráneo que implica la inyección en el yacimiento, preferiblemente en forma de una solución acuosa, de al menos un éter monoalquílico de polietilén glicol, en el que el grupo alquilo tiene 3-5 carbonos y el polietilén glicol contiene 3-6 unidades de óxido de etileno, por ejemplo, éter butílico de trietilén glicol. Especialmente preferidas son las mezclas compuestas por el mismo y al menos un éter monoalquílico de mono-y dietilén glicol, por ejemplo, una mezcla de éter butílico de triglicol, éter butílico de tetraglicol, éter butílico de pentaglicol y éter butílico de diglicol. El procedimiento de la invención se puede aplicar en tratamiento de estimulación de pozos como bloqueo de agua, consolidación de la arena, acidificación de areniscas y procedimientos para incrementar la recuperación de petróleo como la recuperación terciaria de petróleo.
