Abstract

Un conector eléctrico hembra adaptado para hacerlo descender enun pozo en un cable eléctrico para conectarlo, remotamente, a un conector macho en el fondo de la perforación a fin de establecer una comunicación eléctrica entre el conector macho y la superficie del pozo a través del cable, y donde dicho conector eléctrico hembra comprende lo siguiente:un alojamiento con un acoplamiento para asegurar el conector eléctrico hembra al cable, formando dicho alojamiento una superficie interna con un extremo abierto para recibir el conector macho; un contacto eléctrico hembra dentro del alojamiento, estando el contacto eléctrico hembra comunicado eléctricamente con el cable y comprendiendo lo siguiente: un anillo circunferencial con un eje central; y, un dedo en voladizo que se extiende, por lo general, axialmente desde el anillo, constando el dedo de una sección principal que se extiende, por lo general, radialmente hacia adentro desde el anillo, y una sección secundaria que se extiende, por lo general, radialmente hacia afuera, desde la primera posición, hacia un extremo distal orientado radialmente, existiendo entre las secciones principal y secundaria una superficie de contacto más interior; y, un aislador situado entre el alojamiento y el contacto eléctrico hembra de forma que resista la conducción eléctrica entre el contacto eléctrico hembra y el alojamiento, y comprendiendo lo siguiente: un revestimiento extremo situado entre el anillo circunferencial del contacto eléctrico hembra y la superficie interna del alojamiento; y, un labio interno superpuesto axialmente en el extremo distal del dedo en voladizo del contacto eléctrico hembra, y estando el labio interno situado radialmente hacia adentro del extremo distal del dedo en voladizo para evitar que el extremo del dedo se acople con el conector macho al introducirse éste dentro del conector hembra.
