Abstract

Un proceso para cerrar y sellar herméticamente un fondo deun contenedor que comprende: Suministrar un cuerpo de contenedor cilíndrico que tiene una superficie interior sellable con calor y un extremo de fondo abierto; Formar un reborde sobre y alrededor del extremo de fondo del cuerpo cilíndrico del contenedor el cual se extiende exteriormente desde el cuerpo del contenedor en un radio agudo de aproximadamente 90° a una superficie exterior del cuerpo del contenedor y la cual define una superficie circular plana sellable con calor sobre un lado exterior del reborde; Ubicar un parche de membrana generalmente circular que tiene una superficie interior sellable con calor sobre la superficie circular plana sellable con calor del reborde del cuerpo del contenedor para cubrir el extremo de fondo abierto del cuerpo de contenedor; sellar con calor las superficies sellables con calor del reborde de cuerpo de contenedor y el parche de membrana una con la otra para sellar herméticamente el extremo de fondo del contenedor; ondular el reborde del cuerpo del contenedor y la porción de parche de membrana sellada a esta con calor interiormente al cuerpo cilíndrico del contenedor mientras que se aplica calor y presión para completar el cierre del fondo del contenedor y mantener la forma cilíndrica del contenedor.
