Abstract

La presente invención provee, entre otros, un polinucleótido quecomprende una región que codifica por lo menos dos de las subunidades de la toxina insecticida, seleccionada entre las comprendidas en las SEQ ID No 2,4,6,8 y 10 y la que es codificada por el ARN procesado que deriva del clon genómico representado en la SEQ ID No 19, siendo dicho ARN procesado capaz de hibridizarse con los productos de extensión de los cebadores representados en las SEQ ID No 20 y 21; o las SEQ ID No 22 y 23, o las SEQ ID No 24 y 25 utilizando la secuencia representada en la SEQ ID No 1 como templado, con la condición de que el polinucleótido no codifique solamente la combinación de las subunidades contenidas en las SEQ ID No 2 y 8. La invención también provee un patógeno de insecto, en particular un baculovirus recombinante que comprende dicho polinucleótido y varias modificaciones del mismo.
