Abstract
Un dispositivo de ejemplo para decodificar datos de video incluye uno o más procesadores configurados para: determinar que una primera ponderación y una segunda ponderación se especifican para un bloque de datos de video actual predicho en modo de bipredicción; determinar si el bloque actual se va a predecir mediante el uso de un modo de predicción de múltiples hipótesis (MHP) con el modo de bipredicción como modo base; en respuesta a la determinación de que el bloque actual se va a predecir mediante el uso del modo de MHP con el modo de bipredicción como el modo base, determinar un modo de interpredicción adicional del modo de MHP; generar un primer bloque de predicción de acuerdo con el modo de bipredicción; generar un segundo bloque de predicción de acuerdo con el modo de interpredicción adicional; generar un bloque de predicción final para el bloque actual de acuerdo con el modo de MHP mediante el uso del primer bloque de predicción y el segundo bloque de predicción; y decodificar el bloque actual mediante el uso del bloque de predicción final.
