Abstract
Un dispositivo de ejemplo para decodificar datos de video incluye uno o más procesadores configurados para: determinar que se especifican una primera ponderación y una segunda ponderación para un bloque actual predicho de modo de bipredicción de datos de video; determinar si el bloque actual se va a predecir utilizando el modo de predicción de hipótesis múltiples (MHP) con el modo de bipredicción como modo de base; en respuesta a determinar que el bloque actual va a ser predicho utilizando el modo de MHP con el modo de bipredicción como modo de base, determinar un modo de interpredicción adicional del modo de MHP; generar un primer bloque de predicción según el modo de bipredicción; generar un segundo bloque de predicción según el modo de interpredicción adicional; generar un bloque de predicción final para el bloque actual según el modo de MHP utilizando el primer bloque de predicción y el segundo bloque de predicción; y decodificar el bloque actual utilizando el bloque de predicción final.
