Abstract

Los seguidores solares están diseñados para soportar altas cargas de viento, eventualmente sobredimensionando la estructura e incurriendo en un mayor costo de material, lo que lleva a escenarios de altos costos al desplegar seguidores solares en campos solares. El objeto de la presente invención está dirigido a un seguidor solar y método para operar dicho seguidor solar que produce una solución de seguidores solares altamente estructurados proporcionando un seguidor solar de un solo eje horizontal asociado a al menos un módulo fotovoltaico bifacial. El seguidor solar de un solo eje horizontal de la invención tiene un módulo fotovoltaico bifacial asociado al tubo de torsión por medio de un accesorio de unión a lo largo de uno de los lados del módulo solar bifacial de tal manera que el módulo solar se mueve conjuntamente cuando el tubo de torsión gira. Dicho seguidor solar de un solo eje horizontal de la invención puede estar operando de acuerdo a la hora del día, en consecuencia, a la luz solar disponible, de tal manera que cualquiera de las caras del módulo fotovoltaico bifacial asociado al tubo de torsión está enfrentada al sol.
