UN MEDIO DE CONEXIÓN QUE CONECTA EL ELEMENTO TUBULAR A DICHO UNO O MÁS ELEMENTOS DE SOPORTE Y ESTÁ CONFIGURADO PARA PERMITIR LA ROTACIÓN DE DICHO ELEMENTO TUBULAR ALREDEDOR DE UN EJE ESENCIALMENTE PARALELO A LA DIRECCIÓN LONGITUDINAL. LOS MEDIOS DE CONEXIÓN ESTÁN CONFIGURADOS PARA HACER QUE LA CONEXIÓN ENTRE EL POSTE Y LA VIGA DE LA ESTRUCTURA DE SOPORTE SEA MÁS RÍGIDA; EL MEDIO SE PUEDE PROPORCIONAR ADEMÁS PARA EL MANEJO DE LAS DILATACIONES TÉRMICAS Y MEDIOS APROPIADOS PARA CORREGIR EL “TORSIÓN” DE LA ESTRUCTURA.
