Abstract

RESUMEN En la presente descripción se describen una o más composiciones acuosas de recubrimiento de semillas que comprenden (i) un aglutinante que comprende un almidón modificado, y (ii) un ingrediente activo, cuya composición funciona al menos tan bien como o mejor que una composición acuosa de recubrimiento de semillas que contiene un polímero sintético y, sorprendentemente, mejor que las composiciones acuosas de recubrimiento de semillas que contienen almidón no modificado. El aglutinante que comprende un almidón modificado es soluble en agua, compatible con los ingredientes activos y más rentable que el uso de polímeros principalmente sintéticos como el aglutinante en una composición acuosa de recubrimiento de semillas. Adicionalmente, la una o más composiciones acuosas de recubrimiento de semillas descritas en la presente descripción proporcionan excelentes características de recubrimiento de semillas, que incluyen demostrar buena fluidez, disminución de eliminación de polvo y aplicación uniforme de recubrimiento.
