Abstract
RESUMEN DE LA INVENCIÓN Se describe un método y un sistema para recuperar petróleo a partir de unidades geológicas que contienen petróleo actualmente inaccesibles mediante la activación de un banco de semillas microbiano de bioesfera profunda. El mejoramiento de nutrientes y temperatura de microorganismos en unidades geológicas que contienen petróleo permite la estimulación de microorganismos inactivos y/o en reposo de manera que proliferen y generen gas. La viscosidad del petróleo que disminuye por calor, junto con la presión de gas generado por los microbios activados permitiendo que el petróleo, previamente inaccesible, fluya hacia los pozos de extracción.
