Abstract
Un método para purificar un polímero de óxido de polialquileno crudo que contiene un catalizador, como el hidróxido de potasio. El método comprende poner en contacto el polímero de óxido de polialquileno crudo con una composición que comprende un silicato funcionalizado con ácido, tal como un adsorbente de silicato de magnesio funcionalizado con ácido que contiene al menos un ácido en una cantidad eficaz para eliminar el catalizador del polímero de óxido de polialquileno. Tal método proporciona una eliminación mejorada del catalizador del polímero de óxido de polialquileno.
