Abstract

Se describe una tela para uso en indumentaria de seguridad. La tela comprende un primer hilo que comprende modacrílica corrido en una dirección de trama de dicha tela y un segundo hilo que comprende poliéster corrido en una dirección de urdimbre de dicha tela. La tela cumple con los requisitos de visibilidad regidos por CSA Z96 en Canadá y por ANSI/ISEA 107 en los Estados Unidos y las normas internacionales aplicables; y cumple con los requisitos de resistencia a las llamas regidos en Canadá por CAN/CGSB-155.20, CAN/CGSB 155.22 y CSA Z462; y en los Estados Unidos por NFPA 2112, NFPA 1971, NFPA 1975, NFPA 1977 y NFPA 70E y las normas internacionales aplicables. También se describe un método para fabricar una tela, en donde dicho método comprende los pasos de dejar correr un primer hilo en una dirección de trama, en donde dicho primer hilo comprende modacrílica, y dejar correr un segundo hilo en una dirección de urdimbre, en donde dicho segundo hilo comprende poliéster, en donde dicho método produce una tela que cumple con los requisitos de visibilidad y cumple con los requisitos de resistencia a las llamas.
