Abstract
Se proporcionan procesos para influir sobre la separación de petróleo de emulsiones mediante la adición de soluciones de nanogas. Por ejemplo, las soluciones de nanogas se pueden usar para afectar la viscosidad y/o densidad de las gotas de petróleo en emulsiones de petróleo en agua, romper la emulsión de petróleo en agua; y formar una fase de petróleo que flota en una fase de agua. En otro ejemplo, las soluciones de nanogás se pueden usar junto con un tanque de flotación para separar el petróleo de, por ejemplo, el agua producida. En otros ejemplos, la selección de los gases en la solución de nanogas se puede usar para afectar las reacciones y/o la separación.
