Abstract
RESUMEN Los rellenos sanitarios al efectuar el tratamiento a los residuos sólidos urbanos en celdas de confinamiento anaerobias y a cielo abierto permiten la generación de vectores, lixiviados y gases de efecto invernadero. Con este aparato, conformado por dos compartimentos impermeabilizados, adecuados para confinar, tratar y cubrir los residuos sólidos. Un compartimiento inferior con un punto de ingreso de los residuos para su confinamiento, tratamiento, higienización, reducción y deshidratación; y un compartimento superior el cual sirve de cubierta protectora de los residuos, evitando la percolación por aguas lluvias, la volatilización de material particulado y sirve para realizar la irrigación de microorganismos y enzimas esenciales para la reducción de la biomasa presente en estos residuos, simultáneamente se realiza la higienización de los residuos mediante la aplicación de luz germicida, permitiendo la evacuación del agua descontaminada, en estado gaseoso. Dentro del reactor aerobio de deshidratación y reducción controlada se forma un proceso aerobio y se deshidratan los residuos, evitando la generación de olores nauseabundos, vectores, lixiviados y gases de efecto invernadero.ABSTRACT Sanitary landfills when treating urban solid waste in anaerobic and open-air confinement cells allow the generation of vectors, leachates and greenhouse gases. With this device, consisting of two waterproof compartments, suitable for confining, treating and covering solid waste. A lower compartment with a point of entry of waste for its confinement, treatment, sanitation, reduction and dehydration; and an upper compartment which serves as a protective cover for waste, avoiding percolation by rainwater, volatilization of particulate material and serves to perform the irrigation of microorganisms and enzymes essential for the reduction of the biomass present in these residues, simultaneously performs the sanitation of waste by applying germicidal light, allowing the evacuation of decontaminated water, in a gaseous state. An aerobic process is formed within the aerobic dehydration and controlled reduction reactor and the waste is dehydrated, avoiding the generation of foul odors, vectors, leachates and greenhouse gases.
