Abstract

Método para reforzar y curvar hojas de vidrio, en donde se aplica una solución salina saturada a las hojas de vidrio, seguido de un cambio rápido de temperatura, permitiendo que la sal se precipite. Las hojas de vidrio son entonces revestidas uniformemente con una sal recristalizada. Posteriormente, las hojas de vidrio son sometidas a un intercambio iónico y curvadas a una temperatura predeterminada por un período predeterminado de tiempo.
