Abstract

Description

本发明涉及一次行程压实钻杆装置(packstock)具体说来是一种斜向器压实装置,该装置的外径虽较常规装置的外径小,却能适用各种常规套管直径内的压实。
井管压实器被广泛地用来把井道内的一个或多个区域密封或隔绝开来。通常采用一种介于井壁和工作钻柄之间的压实装置将几个关键的高度相互隔绝开来。另外,压实器也用来对一些诸如斜向器的附加器具进行定向及支撑,以便控制器具的方向。然而,大部分过去已知的压实器具其压实及密封缝隙往往被设计为3/16时或再小一些,因此压实装置的起始直径须与井管的内径十分接近。
由于常规压实器具所允许的公差很小,故当压实装置在井内下降时就可能被卡挂在井壁上。若数个井管压实器与其附机器具连接在一起运转,由于其总长度加长而使得该问题更加突出。附加器具的长度因其与压实器相接而增加,使得借不规则套管截面实施的控制能力减弱。为减少卡挂的可能性,这种组合器具的操纵通常由两道工序来完成。首先是启动设备和放置压实装置,其次将工作器具定位,如将斜向器放置到井壁的一例。由于压实工具长仅几英尺,因此借套管极易将其控制,然而两步工序的操作导致成本增加,尤其对深井操作来说更是如此。此外尽管分别操纵斜向器和压实器往往是相当简单的工序,但一个偏斜的井可能要求压实器在钻柄上运转,在此情况下,一个简单的工序就会变成费时和复杂的工序。
为降低生产成本,一种一次行程就可压实大于1/2吋间隔的器具已研制成功。该组合器具在美国专利No.4,397,355中得以阐述,标题为《斜向器放置方法及装置》(WHIPSTOCK SEJJING METHOD AND APPARATUS)该专利阐述的器具可用于压实加大的间隔,然而,业已发现由于间隔增大,橡胶密封元件更有可能沿内心轴和管壁挤出,由此导致经压实元件的泄漏。加压压实器亦曾用来防止这种泄漏,不过加压压实器只能承受与起初注入压实器内的压力成一定比例的压力,这是由于供压管线对斜向器的活动有严格的要求。任何向井道下的增压都有可能引起经压实器具的泄漏。
因此,以往所知的器具都不能有效地密封并压实套管,尤其是当井压过大时更是如此。
本发明提供的压实装置具有较小的直径,更有利于操作器具,克服了过去所用的斜向压实器的缺点。
本发明具有独特的压实结构,它包括一对带有可滑动隔套的压实元件,隔套装在两压实元件中间。隔套和压实元件的排列形式使压实元件的内径及外径均形成液体密封。金属隔卷的作用相当于一个增压密封,同时该隔套环在其内径上有一O形密封圈以加强隔套的密封能力。在两个压实元件的外端装有膨胀销以限制压实元件受压后挤压。此外,外部橡胶保持器和金属膨胀环是在当进一步加强密封和压实力时用来卡住压实元件。所有这些元件皆安装在内心轴上使得压实装置得以受压。
本发明所述的压实装置与改进的一次步骤压实斜向器装置一并使用,一旦斜向器压实装置降入井道,压实装置借一条由沿斜向器至压实器的供压管线所提供的液压而固定。随后,斜向器的挤压头脱开并下降,并在斜向器的导向下开始挤压工序。另一种方法为,在开动挤压头或钻头进入井道之前,采用一种设定装置或其它型式的驱动工具使斜向器和压实装置分别降入井道。
由此可见,本发明提供了一种改进的斜向器,可随装于其下端的压实器一起运转,在井眼钻具的一次运转中将压实器具固定在需要的高度和方位上。该压实装置可承受巨大的井压及强烈的压力差。

首先参照图1,图2和图3,其中斜向器装置在井眼或套管12内由钻具14所定向。斜向器装置10一般来讲都包括压实装置16。压实装置16由附件18连接在斜向器20的下端。挤压头22由保险销24连接到斜向器20上,这是为了整个的装置10可以一次插入套管。斜向器装置10在井眼内用钻具14使其下降,直到在井壁定向槽的区域内完成所需的定向工作为止,这点以后还要谈到。根据操作要求,斜向器20及压实装置16可用安放工具或其它形式的操作装置。首先被放入井道内,另一种方法是,斜向器装置10与可分离的挤压头22一起操作,以便进一步减少操作次数。
参看图4,压实装置16包括一个内心轴30,一个与心轴30的上端用螺纹连接的活塞杆32和一个与活塞杆32的上端用螺纹连接的连接器附件34。压实装置16还包括一个上部为牙口式的固接装置38,安装在压实装置42上的心轴30之上,以及一个下部为牙口式的固接装置39,安装在压实装置42之下的心轴30上,两个固定铰接器38和39包括几个可胀开的牙口40,这些牙口向外胀开与井管壁结合以调整随后就要谈到的工具。
下部的固定铰接器39,压实装置42及上部的固定铰接器38依次由经工作钻具14的供压管线26来的液压定位,供压管线26与连接器34内的中央通路44相接。通路44通过一个或多个侧出口48与环形套46相连接。环形套46相当于一个液压缸体,当环形套内的压力增加时,活塞50及活塞套52就相对于活塞杆32及外保持套53向下移动。为了避免压力损失,活塞50上沿其内外表面有许多O形密封圈54,活塞装置的下移又顶住装在心轴30上的锁套56。锁套56与锁帽58相配合,锁帽58又与内心轴30连接以防止在调好工具后释放压力时压实装置16会松开。锁套56的内径向表面有许多尖齿与锁帽58上的外表面尖齿相配合,同样心轴30的径向外表面也有许多尖齿与锁帽58内表面相反的尖齿相配合,如果活塞装置使锁套56向下移动,则锁帽58也要同时移动并使锁帽58的内齿在心轴30的尖齿上移动。这些相互作用的齿尖将保证只沿一个方向运动。因此可保证固定铰接器及压实装置不得松开。
仍参照图4,锁套56由保险螺丝62与内套筒60相连接。内套筒60在上部的固定铰接器38的牙口40内延伸并与上锥套64紧靠在一起。上锥套64用保险螺丝66与内心轴30松套在一起,由于压实装置42的压力而成为一个上支撑面。同样地,下锥套68用保险螺丝70与心轴30松套在一起,作为压实装置42的下支撑面。下锥套68上有斜面与下部的固定铰接器39的牙口40相互作用使牙口40外移与套管壁12相结合。牙口40由于端帽36的阻挡不能向下移动。
当液压施于环形套46时,活塞50、活塞套52及锁套56向下移动,使该工具固定。保险螺丝62、66及70被设计成强度不同的螺丝,其中保险螺丝66最弱,保险螺丝70其次,保险螺丝62最强。因此当有压力时,螺丝66首先被剪断,因此使锁套56作用于内套筒60上,同时还使上锥套64向下移动。上锥套64向下移动就会在心轴30与套管壁12之间把压实装置压成密封结合。继续下压则使螺丝70被剪断,因此,使下锥套68在下部的固定铰接器39的牙口40内移动,并使牙口与套管壁相结合,如图5所示。最后,由于压实装置42的全压作用,连续向下的压力使螺丝62被剪断,因此使锁套56与上部的固定铰接器38的牙口40相结合,并使之向下移动,由于上锥套64的作用,又使牙口40向外移动并与套管壁12相结合,如图5所示。
压实装置42的零件都经过精心设计,互相配合,在井壁12的内径与压实装置16的外径之间的空隙较大时,也能使之密封,同时还能防止压实元件挤出去而引起的泄漏或突然爆裂。如图6到图8所示,压实装置42在金属隔套环72附近是轴向对称的。金属隔套环装在心轴30上可以滑动。隔套环72上有密封环74,装在隔套环72的内径向面的环形槽内。密封环74与内心轴30密封套接在一起以防止液体通过隔套环72泄漏出去。隔套环72相当倾斜的剖面形状如图7所示,它有一个向外突出的环形法兰76,隔套环72可在心轴30上滑动以适应施于压实装置42上的压力变化。
隔套72放在一对随后就要所述的可弹性变形的压实元件78之间。当压实装置42受压时,压实元件78便向外变形并与套管壁12密封结合。压实元件78的径向减小部分80是用来放置膨胀叶片(Expansion    overleaf)装置82的,此外,压实元件78还有内倾角84及外倾角86,这是用来在增加密封能力而调整工具时减少摩擦力之用的。
膨胀叶片装置82放置在压实元件78轴向的上下两端。最好是再加上内叶片垫板88及外叶片垫板90,叶片垫板88及90具有类似的结构,外叶片90的直径稍大一点,这样内垫板88便可装在外垫板90之内,如图7所示。叶片垫板具有径向法兰92,在其上有许多为便于安装在心轴30上而开的口,以及许多径向分布的膨胀锁94。垫板剖面大体上呈L形,其膨胀锁94沿轴向排列,并覆盖在压实元件78的减小部分80上。叶片装置82装在心轴30上,可以滑动,每个垫板的径向法兰部分92夹在压实元件78及环形保持器装置96之间。
虽然座圈装置96都有大体上类似的形状,但是它们的形状要略有区别,以加强密封结合效果。座圈装置96包括有上金属座圈98及下金属座圈100,座圈都有向内延伸部分102与压实元件78相配合,并且留有空隙放置并卡住叶片垫板88及90的法兰部分92。此外,两个座圈都具有上斜面110可与膨胀环112相啮合以便使该环与套管壁相结合。
参照图6-8,膨胀环112包括上膨胀环及下膨胀环。每一个膨胀环都有大体上是三角形的剖面,其内部的斜面在一端与座圈相配合,在另一端与相应的锥套64及68相配合,在压实装置受压时,为了使该环膨胀,沿膨胀环112圆周的一部分开有槽114及两个从环的一边延伸到圆周槽114的横向槽116及118,这两个槽116及118开在中心槽114的相对的两面,两个槽互相隔开就可以在膨胀时在膨胀环112内不留有间隙,这样当压实装置42的压力发生时,膨胀环112的两个横向槽116及118就会扩大使得环112做径向膨胀,膨胀将持续下去,直到环112的外径向面与管壁12相结合,如图8所示。此外,当环112膨胀时,他们会与膨胀叶片环相遇,这便可进一步阻止压实元件78的挤出。
图9所示为压实装置42的另一种实施例,它包括一个较大的隔套172,具有外斜面176。这些斜面176与压实元件178相啮合后,就可以保证套管被压实。隔套172大体上具有一个三角形剖面,它的基面比前面一种实施例的基面要宽。为了提供有效的填充,压实元件178具有内斜面180,它与隔套172的斜度相一致。此外,隔套172还有环形法兰182,与隔套72一样,环形法兰182使两个弹性压实元件178彼此接触以前便移向套管壁。因此在压实元件178彼此相碰以前便已与套管壁接触起到密封作用了。法兰182还保证了压实元件178在中心部分相遇,因此。两边的压实是均匀的。此外,如改变表面176的斜度,那么压实到套管使之密封所需的力也会变化。现在图中所示的压力仅及图7中所示的压实装置所需的力的一半。
图10所示为又一种实施例的压实装置42。其中隔套272具有大体上为三角形的剖面,其斜面为276和以前面的实施例一样,表面276的斜度可以改变调整压实元件278所需的力。因此内边280必须是多种多样的以与隔套的斜度相一致。
由此,本发明述及的压实装置42就在心轴及套管壁12之间提供了有效的密封结合措施。然而,由于压实装置的零件都装在心轴上可以滑动,因此这些零件都可适应压力的变化,这点在关于该发明的操作中还要加以说明。
在该装置的操作中,将对压实装置42及上下固定铰接器的牙口40进行一系列的调整。开始向下压时,将使活塞50,活塞套52及锁套56相对于在保险螺丝66旁边的心轴30向下移动,并且轻压压实装置42,额外的压力将剪断保险螺丝70,使下部的固定铰接器39的牙口40打开,并与套管结合,随着下部的固定铰接器39的定位,继续加压则导致在上下锥套之间的压实装置42的受压。在此压力下,环112将因相应的锥套与座圈之间的间隙变窄而膨胀。此外,座圈98及100将彼此向对方移动并挤压压实元件78,使其与套管12相结合而密封,如图8所示。
参照图7及图8,在开始施压时,压实元件78在叶片82的附近向外膨胀,并导致叶片的向外膨胀并与套管相结合。但是由于施于膨胀锁94的阻力,在倾角部分86附近的压实元件便被挤下并与心轴30相结合而密封。此外,膨胀叶片82阻止了压实元件78轴向向外挤出,因此迫使元件78向隔套环72里边膨胀。进一步的压力导致压实装置42向下移动,并引起压实元件78沿隔套环72的斜面移动。隔套环72的斜面形状实际上导致压实元件78的径向扩大部分向外膨胀,并与套管壁密封结合,在满压并在压实装置42完全结合时,螺丝62被剪断,使上部分固定铰接器38的牙口40与套管相结合,由此,为下一步的操作调定好工具。
随着压实装置16定位,钻具14的重量或旋转使销子24切断,挤压头22开始在井管12及斜向器斜面的对应面上切出一个窗口,如图3所示,此时软管26被分开,但是压实装置由锁套56及锁帽58保持不动。此外,牙口40的齿适当倾斜以阻止压实装置16的移动。
斜向器20及压实装置16可以任择其一独立地操纵,不论钻具第二次运转时是什么工序接下去做都可以。照这样做法,第一次压实器定位及随后的斜向器运转的两个步骤便可以取消了,当然接下去操作还需要另一步骤,然而,对最佳实施例来说,压实装置16仍然可以密封较大的间隙,同时适应不同的井压。
因此,本发明提供了在工具及井眼之间可以密封较大间隙的一项简单而有效的工具。此外,隔套环按照情况使压实元件变形(当需要时)使能够适应井压的变化。故当工具下面的压力增加时,隔套便向上移动挤压上压实元件,同样地,如果上面的压力增加,隔套便向下移动挤压下压实元件。这是由于O形密封环74阻止了通过隔套而泄漏的结果。虽然有了压实元件78的变形,但某些压漏还会沿着心轴30发生,这种泄漏是不会通过隔套环的。另外泄漏还会导致隔套环的移动,借此便防止了进一步的泄漏以及压实装置可能的爆炸。此外,金属隔套及弹性压实元件的结合使用,使沿内心轴的密封结合更得以加强。
上面的详细说明仅仅是为了明瞭易懂,多余的限定条件亦无须加以阐述,但某些改进在不违背附注的权利要求范围和意义的条件下,对在工艺上有造旨的人来说将是显而易见的。

Claims (21)

1、一种用于心轴和井管之间密封的压实装置,该装置具有可胀开的滑动铰接机构,铰接机构安在内心轴上,数个衬套滑动地与内心轴及铰接机构同轴相配合,以调定固定铰接机构。
新的改进部分包括:
用来将井管和内心轴密封地连接起来的压实装置,该压实装置至少有两个可弹性变形的压实元件,及根据井管内液压变化而使压实元件反复变形的机构,将压实机构压入与井管形成密封连接从而防止压实元件的挤出。
2、根据权利要求1中所述的压实装置,其使压实元件反复变形的机构包括一个安装在介于压实元件之间的内心轴之上的间隔环,该间隔环又包括与内心轴密闭相连的机构。
3、根据权利要求2中所述的压实装置,其间隔环可根据压力变化而轴向移动,从而当压实元件与井管形成密封连接时反复使压实元件变形,以加强压实元件与井管和内心轴之间的密闭连接。

10、根据权利要求3中所述的压实装置,其间隔环具有大体呈一截锥的径向外沿部份截面及环向法兰部份,该环向法兰在压实元件之下沿内心轴延展,截锥部份和法兰部份用来加强压实机构与井管及内心轴之间的密闭连接。

13、在用来对心轴和井管之间施以密封的压实装置中,压实装置具有固定在内心轴上可胀开的滑动铰接机构和数个同轴固定在内心轴及铰接机构上的衬套,用来调定铰接机构,其改进部份包括:
用来密封地将井管和内心轴连接起来的压实机构,该压实机构包括一对可弹性变形的环形压实元件和一个装在介于压实元件之间的内心轴之上的环状间隔套,该间隔环具有密封地与内心轴相连接的机构;
用来对压实机构施压使其与井管密闭相连的机构,从而防止压实元件的挤出;该施压机构装在压实机构轴向上下对称的内心轴上;

14、根据权利要求13中所述的压实装置,其用来密封连接间隔环中心轴的机构由一个装在环形套内的O-型圈组成,环形套由间隔环的内表面构成。
15、根据权利要求13中所述的压实装置中用来施压和防止挤出的机构由环形膨胀叶片机构、环形定位器和膨胀环机构组成。
16、根据权利要求13中所述的压实装置中,压实元件由第一和第二径向部份组成,第一部份在径向方向较第二部份为大。
17、一种调定斜向器和借钻具一次操作工序通过管壁来改变钻进方向的设备,包括:
一个斜向器;
一个钻井器;
一个与钻井相连的挤压头;
将挤压头松接到斜向器上端的机构;
一个压实装置;
将压实装置连接到斜向器下端的机构和
一条穿过钻井器、挤压头和斜向器达至压实装置的液力通道;
其中压实装置包括:
可膨胀滑动铰接机构,并附带设定铰接机构的装置;
用来密闭连接管壁的压实机构包括至少两个可弹性变形的元件及根据井管中压力变化而使压实元件反复变形的机构;和
向压实机构施压使其与管壁密封连接以防止压实元件挤出的机构。
18、按权利要求17中所述的装置中用来使压实元件反复变形的机构,该机构由一个装在压实元件之间可移动的环形间隔环组成,该间隔环带有密封连接内心轴的机构。
19、按权利要求18中所述的设备,其间隔环可依井管中压力变化而沿轴向滑移,从而当压实元件处于与管壁密封相连状态时不致改变压实元件的形状,以加强压实机构的密闭连接。

一个与钻杆活动连接的斜向器;
一个压实装置;
将压实装置与斜向器下端连接起来的机构;
和一条穿过斜向器达至压实器的液力通道;
其中压实装置由液力通道中的液压来驱动。
