Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种电连接器,其包括由绝缘本体及遮蔽体组成的基体、收容于绝缘本体内的若干端子及与所述端子电连接的线缆,所述绝缘本体上一体形成有扣持元件,扣持元件的悬空部悬空于绝缘本体表面上方,遮蔽体上靠近扣持元件的悬空部设置突出遮蔽体表面的凸块。上述遮蔽体上的凸块可以防止在使用过程中扣持元件的悬空部由于碰撞或者勾挂而断裂失效,保证扣持元件的正常工作。同时上述凸块可方便遮蔽体与绝缘本体接合或分离时及电连接器插拔时的操作。

电连接器
【技术领域】
本实用新型是关于一种电连接器,尤指一种具有扣持元件的线缆电连接器。
【背景技术】
许多配套电连接器具有用于使其和对接电连接器达到可靠匹配的扣持元件,该类配套电连接器具有一对相互匹配的一体成型的塑胶绝缘本体,其中每一个绝缘本体都收容若干端子并分别设置有可以相互扣合的扣持元件。当该两个绝缘本体匹配时,其中一个绝缘本体内收容的端子和另一个绝缘本体内收容的端子电连接,同时相应的扣持元件相互卡扣从而使配套电连接器固定在一起。
然而许多电连接器在使用时经常被一些不是很清楚电连接器结构和应用的操作者连接和拆开。例如,电连接器经常用于光敏复印机和其他办公室设备,这些办公室设备大都要由使用它们的人员或者办公室职员定期维护。但是,一般技术人员和办公室职员通常未进行所使用的设备的电连接器的培训。那些需要办公室职员定期维护的办公室设备在维护过程中要不时连接和拆开,而那些电连接器操作熟练度不高的办公室职员可能由于不当的操作而碰撞或者勾挂到扣持元件,从而造成扣持元件的损坏失效。
因此,确有必要对电连接器进行改良以解决现有技术中的上述缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种能够为扣持元件提供有效保护的电连接器。
为了实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、遮蔽绝缘本体后半部分的遮蔽体、收容于绝缘本体内的若干导电端子及与所述导电端子电连接的线缆,所述绝缘本体上一体形成有一扣持元件,扣持元件的悬空部悬空于绝缘本体表面上方,遮蔽体上靠近扣持元件的悬空部设置突出遮蔽体表面的凸块。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器有如下有益效果:上述遮蔽体上的凸块可以防止在使用过程中扣持元件的悬空部由于碰撞或者勾挂而断裂失效,保证扣持元件的正常工作;同时上述凸块可方便遮蔽体与绝缘本体接合或分离时及电连接器插拔时的操作。

【具体实施方式】
请参照图1至图4所示,本实用新型电连接器1包括由绝缘本体2及遮蔽体3组成的基体8、收容于绝缘本体2内的若干端子6、与端子6电连接的线缆4及端子定位肋7。
绝缘本体2具有对接部200、从对接部200向后延伸的尾部201和一体成型于其上表面的的扣持元件5。对接部200具有相对的两侧壁204、205和相对的两端壁208、209。除临近端壁208处外,侧壁205均较侧壁204厚,因而所述两侧壁204、205和两端壁208、209包围形成有“L”形开槽203。侧壁205内设有若干端子通道207,端子通道207贯穿绝缘本体2的对接部200和尾部201。侧壁204中部向后延伸形成有上表面凹陷的平台部2040,平台部2040两侧分别向上凸出形成有阻隔块2041,该阻隔块2041用以防止外部材料钩住扣持元件5。所述端壁209向外突出形成有凸肋206。尾部201设有若干凹槽(未标号),以增加绝缘本体2和遮蔽体3之间的固持力。
扣持元件5包括第一受力臂501、第二受力臂503、连接第一和第二受力臂501、503的按压部504及位于第一受力臂501和第二受力臂503之间的第三受力臂502。所述第一、第二受力臂501、503分别从侧壁204上表面中部向后倾斜延伸形成,其分别包括与绝缘本体2连接的接合部5051、与按压部504连接的悬空部5053及连接接合部5051与悬空部5053的倾斜连接部5052。接合部5051上设置扣持块505。接合部5051除与侧壁204的前边沿连接的一端外,其余部分都与平台部2040间隔一定距离。悬空部5053上表面分别与按压部504两端连接,且与平台部2040平行设置。中间受力臂502与绝缘本体2一体成型设计,其从侧壁204位于两侧受力臂501中间处延伸出来,进而向后向上延伸而与按压部504下表面中部连接,显然,该中间受力臂502除与侧壁204连接处外,其余部分都悬空。按压部504上表面具有若干阶梯状肋条5040,以增大按压时与手的摩擦力。
遮蔽体3为一矩形壳体,其具有上表面301和下表面302。所述上表面301中央具有便于结合扣持元件5的开槽303,下表面302中央具有若干相平行的凹陷的肋条304以方便电连接器1被拿捏。遮蔽体3的上表面301于靠近扣持元件5悬空部5053自由端的位置设置凸块306,在本实施方式中该凸块306为一矩形条状凸起,当然上述凸块306的数量及形状也可根据需要采用不同的形式。遮蔽体3后表面具有若干通孔305,供所述线缆4延伸穿过。
线缆4包括金属导线401和包覆金属导线401的绝缘层402。
端子6包括接触部603、连接部601和连接接触部603与连接部601的固持部602。接触部603前端具有弯曲的接触端6031,三个接触部603通过一个固持部602与一个连接部601连接。连接部601包括主体部6011和沿主体部6011两侧分别向下延伸形成的侧翼6012。主体部6011和侧翼6012形成“U”形收容空间,线缆4的金属导线401收容于该收容空间内,从而与端子6电连接。
端子定位肋7前侧靠近上边沿具有抵住端子6卡在端子通道207中的凸起701。这些凸起701可将定位肋7固定于绝缘本体中,如此可以防止制造过程中遮蔽体3熔融状态下的材料流入绝缘本体2的端子通道207中,从而防止了其对端子电连接性的影响。
当电连接器1与其对接元件连接时,按压扣持元件5的按压部504,使扣持元件5的接合部5051带动扣持块505下降,使对应连接器与电连接器1结合,再放开按压部504,使扣持块505卡扣于对应连接器的对应卡扣槽中,从而使电连接器1与其对应元件可靠连接。上述遮蔽体3上的凸块306可以防止在使用过程中扣持元件5的悬空部5053由于碰撞或者勾挂而断裂失效,保证扣持元件5的正常工作。同时上述凸块306可方便遮蔽体3与绝缘本体2接合或分离时及电连接器1插拔时的操作。

Claims (5)

1.一种电连接器,其包括基体、收容于基体内的若干端子、与端子电连接的线缆,基体上设置一体成型的扣持元件,该扣持元件设置一悬空部,其特征在于:基体的一个表面上于靠近扣持元件悬空部的位置设置凸块。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:上述基体包括绝缘本体及遮蔽绝缘本体后半部分的遮蔽体,凸块设置于遮蔽体上靠近扣持元件悬空部的表面上。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:上述凸块的数量可为一个或多个。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:上述凸块为矩形长条状。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:上述绝缘本体还包括靠近扣持元件设置的若干阻隔块,上述凸块与阻隔块围绕扣持元件的悬空部设置。
